I did not like this book. It satrted out ok but i keep wanting to skip ahead and didnot care what happened to either of the main characters. Her great aunts were funny and a character named Hanna was interesting but beyond that their was not much that I liked about the book.

I am a big fan of jack Ryan

This is the first book I read by author Ken Follett. If you only know him for Pillars of the Earth then you are missing out. His WWII and other spy novels are among my favorite reads. i reccommend them all.

I cant believe no one has reviewed The Firm yet. Grishams writting is sometimes like a roller coaster ride that takes you all over the place and ends in the most unliky places. This is not my favorite John Grisham book but I did enjoy it.

Baldacci is a favorite of mine when it comes to political thrillers. In Absolute POwer a cat burgler witnesses the President of the Unites States killing a person. This a high octane intense thriller.

A Justine de Quincy mystery that revolves around a letter that is to be delivered to Queen Eleanor of Aquitaine. Penman is a master at writting historical fiction and this book is no exception.

The first Amelia Peabody book. This is not my favorite series I have read a few and they just dont capture my attention. Everyone in my family happens to love the series and i feel like the odd man out.

This is one of the books Stout wrote featuring the recluse Nero Wolfe. How can a man that never leaves his home solve mysteries? With the help of the easy going Archie Goodwin of course. Some of the refrences are a bit dated (this book was written in 1934) but the book is well worth reading even 70+ years later.

My cousin has been trying to get me to read this books for years. When I finally did I was hooked after 10 pages. China Bayles is a wonderful character that is so real you think you know her.

This is another first in the series featuring Anne Lawerence mystery bookstore owner. Besides a good mystery that keeps you guessing for a bit these books are full of mystery literary refrences. Half the fun is spotting them all and knowing which books they are from. For all avid mystery readers this series is a must.

I read this book when it first came out. Its a bit dark so if your looking for a "cozy" mystery this is not the book. But if you like your mysteries dark with serial killers pick this one up and leave the lights on.

This is the first in a series of Aunt Dimity mysteries. I kindly ghosts that helps solve mysteries and helps unsuspecting people fall in love. These are cute easy stories that you could reccomend to your grandma.

What is better than an afternoon with the first lady of mystery. This is the book that Agatha Christie introduces Miss Jane Marple. One of my favorite characters.

I picked this book to read while traveling for a business trip and fell in love with the characters. According to The Ultimate reading guide this book "is Doctor Zhivago in Comminist China". I must agrees with that assement.

I liked this story. We all have preconceived notions about others and this story in part talks about how those idea keep us from really knowing people as we should. It is the relationship between fathers and sons, between lovers, brothers and friends. It is also about how the smallest details in life can change you and of lossing those closest to you

I did not really like this book. It was ok. but I keep getting bored with it and my mind would wonder. I think for the first time I can say the movie was better!!!!!

Lori I tried rereading this series and I gave up half way through the Hobit. Still not my cup of tea.

This books were so much fun to read in high school when I thought Romeo and Juliet was romantic

I read this book years ago as in High school. I remember then thinking it was good. I am not sure I would like it now
