Enjoy!

There were indeed plans to produce audio books in house. But a number of factors made that very difficult, and left us concerned we wouldn't be able to produce a quality product at an affordable price. We spoke with several experts and ultimately made the decision to license the rights to professional audio publishers who do nothing BUT produce audiobooks. It was the best way to ensure we'd end up with an audiobook readers would enjoy and could afford.
But licensing rights means giving up control of the timeline to the publisher who buys the license. It also means finding the right publisher to buy the license. It's a complex world about which we know little, so we signed on with a top-notch subrights agent to help us navigate it. At this point, it's a waiting game for us, and I promise that as soon as we know something, we'll share it with everyone who's waiting.

We do our best! :D

LOL you're not the first person to mention he looks like Jared Leto. Don't hate me, but I had to look JL up.

I am one of those sad bookaholics that gives myself a budget per month to spend and I have already gone over mine this month, ..."
You'll be able to sneak some more peeks on the blog tour, where she'll be posting another (I think?) seven excerpts, each around five pages long, so hopefully that'll hold you til next month :)

It's the same title, with the same cover, linked in on Goodreads with the other earlier editions and all listed as the same book. We even listed out the story titles inside the book so there would be no confusion, and we also posted on the title page of our website AND on the book's Goodreads page that it's a re-release of the same title that was released in 2010. I'm not sure what else we could do to make it clearer, but I'm certainly open to suggestions. And if you'd like to give away your duplicate copy, we certainly wouldn't mind.

We thank you all for your excitement and encouragement and hope you have a fabulous time with your shiny new downloads!

This might be a browser cache issue; your browser may be seeing what it remembers being there rather than what is there now. Hitting refresh won't fix that; you have to clear your cache. If you try accessing the bookshelf on a different browser, I suspect the book will show up, as it's working now for everyone else afaik. If it doesn't still show up, though, definitely let us know.

Downloaded both of those ..."
Fabulous, thanks! I think we can safely say the bug has been squashed :D

Aw, fabulous, so glad to hear it! We put the blurbs up front out of personal experience; I've downloaded a ton of kindle samples that I don't get to for months sometimes, and by the time I do, I've completely forgotten what the book was about and why it interested me. This way the blurb will be in the sample :)

We did have a technical glitch with the OAM file, but it should be fixed now. If it's still not showing up in your bookshelf, please drop us an email at info@riptidepublishing.com with your order number and we'll send it right over to you.
