I thought I would kick this quest off with an older book in the mountain of books. In Hollow Houses. It is a novel based off of an RPG by Wizards of the Coast called Dark*Matter. Think the X-Files. I have owned this book since about 2000 or 2001. So far the descriptions are really detailed which I like a lot. So here we go wish me luck!Update (03/24/11)
Finally done. I gave it 2 stars. Not really sure why I didn't like it more. I am a fan of the X-Files and it has some similarities to the X-Files, but I don't know. I do know that the first step in overcoming the mountain of books is complete. Celebrate and pick another now...

A Million Little Piecesguy a few years back. I don't know if you can really write a memoir without some dramatic license at times. The intro to City of Thievestalks about how Benioff's granpa tells him he has to add the parts that make a good book.
Do you ever buy a book that you already own with a new cover or format? In looking for the editions of The Icewind Dale trilogy I noticed that all of the Drizzt books are now in hardcover. When I was younger I remember that Dragonlance and Forgotten Realms books never came in hardcover, but now they are re-releasing them in hc.
What do you think about that? Would you ever buy a hardcover of a book you already own?
What do you do when a friend/family member lends you a book? Do you read it right away or does it go into the pile? Do you still hit up the library on a regular basis?
Welcome Steve,Darth and David. Steve what is your ebook collection up to these days? Black Library has been putting a lot of their books out in eformat. Darth, I know what you mean, all shelves of my library are at least two deep and some are even three if they will fit.
Hello! I am Brian and I have a lot of books. I am attempting to work through the backlog of books that I own, some of which have been collecting dust since the early '90s. I was an Lit major and which only added to the number of books I currently own. I read all types of books, but my favorites are usually fantasy and science fiction. Good luck to all and thanks for joining.
