She waved a chunk of meat in his face. "Does it look like I'm done?"

"I'm not really getting any special treatment form the captain. Besides, I like where I am."

"I've only been here for two days. I'm still getting used to doing what I'm suppose to."

"Fine. I guess." She said as she dug in.

"I guess." She came back over and sat down.

Tara got off her chair wondered around.

She looked at him strangely before sitting.

"What's that." She asked, catching up to him.

"I got nothing else to do."

"We'll the rigging lads had me try some rum and I think I better not try that again. "That salt meat sounds good."

"We'll the rigging lads had me try some rum and I think I better not try that again. That salt meat sounds good."

Tara slipped off his bed. "Alright, say what do you lads got to eat around here."

"I don't know I was hoping you'd know."

After the others cleared away. Tara knocked on his door and came in unanouced. "They taught me everything! The right ends of the ship, kinds of sails, I know where everything is now! I love it." She spun around room on her toes and bouced on his bed. "Your beds really bouncy. You know what eles is bouncy? Go on guess."

Hours later Tara was up and by the mast learning form the other men how to raise and lower sails.

"I don't know. Look, I'm tired and know it's only the middle of the day but gonna lay down for a while. Go do whatever it is you did before I got here."

" You shouldn't. You don't know the trouble I cause sometimes. No one stays around me very long." Tara scooted away to create distance.

"Hardly." she mumbled, picking her nail.
