4th sentence (because the paragraphs are all insanely long: Long after they had climbed out of the valley and left the Last Homely House behind, they were still going up and up and up.

Jay sipped his drink thoughtfully. "That's true. It's like they all expired. Or maybe the School's just coming up with something worse."

Jay looked at Song sharply. "You're the one that dragged us into this Starbucks in the first place."

Song rolled his eyes. "You know what I mean. Nothing's happening. We're not being chased by anything. No Erasers. No Silencers. No Chasers. No nothing. The School's getting so lame now."

Jay rolled his eyes and ate a warm panini hungrily.

Song picked the blueberries out of his parfait moodily. "This is so pathetic."

it's funny how a simple picture not of the person I'm thinking of can make my heart go crazy

Jay popped the cap off of an interesting chocolatey-strawberry blended drink and took a rather long sip before looking at Song curiously. "People don't usually spend so much at Starbucks."

Song shrugged. "She was cute. I felt like I should at least give her the satisfaction of a big order and a tip."

and the basic plot Steph came up with is

the mutants locked in a School that's about to explode sometime soon, and all of them have been injected with something that strips them of their powers

man that sounds really x-men

but howsabout it?

While Song was flattering the girl behind the counter and trying to get extra chocolate chips blended into his frappacino for free, Jay scoured the place for a table that was farthest away from girls.

Jay held his breath as Song dragged him past a sprawling Starbucks where a large group of girls was giggling at five tables grouped together.

Song looked between the Starbucks and the next door sandwich shop. "I hear Starbucks has something called a Cap'n Crunch Frapp on their secret menu."

Jay protested feebly, but his weak complaints fell on deaf ears. When Song was hungry, he got hungry.

"Let's go eat!" Song grabbed Jay's elbow and dragged him out of the park. ((lol i am so out of this))

"Whatever." Song rolled his eyes.
