Minzy leaned forward, away from the tree her back was against. "I mean, this is California. Land of sunshine and In-N-Out." She peered under his umbrella and blanched at his soapy white skin. It wasn't the healthy sort of pale skin that babies had, but rather... Unnervingly pale and almost purple.

Coo twirled his umbrella as he walked down the street, holding it low in front of him as he avoided the glances of his fellow pedestrians. Sure, people normally didn't walk around with umbrellas in the middle of summer. At least, not in California. The land of the golden sun. Where summer was tanning season. I know. I'm a freak. Tragic

CL sniffed and almost choked as a sudden rush of liquid flooded her nose.

CL floated on her back as she stared absentmindedly at the ceiling. Didn't invisibility come with something cooler, like laser eyes? Or... Was she just dreaming. A very long, boring dream.

Stanley frowned at Tymor, then made a move with his arm as if he was going to hit him. With another startled flurry of blue feathers, a small own replaced Tymor.

Once Tymor was... human again, he smiled weakly at Stanley. "Don't scare me like that. I'll just turn into a bird every time."

Stanley stared at the small blue bird, fighting a sudden temptation to whack it on the head. It's not like they have whack-a-mole in the middle of a forest. or whatever this is. where'd all fifty-bajillion odd of the others go, anyway? or would it be whack-a-bird?

Tymor stared wide-eyed at Stanley's cane, startled, and suddenly mutated into a small blue owl in a puff of feathers.
