I've been reading Arabian Nights for about a month now. I agree that some parts are slow which is why it's taking me so long to finish & I'm also reading other things alongside it. But I am really enjoying it for the most part so far.
Has anyone read Wives& Daughters? I'm watching the mini series on Netflix & really enjoy it. Was wondering how the book is.
I just finished this recently because I watched the Timothy Dalton movie & loved it. Look forward to watching a lot more movies based on it. Such a wonderful book =)
Bronte(s(, Austen, Dickens, Fitzgerald, Hemingway, Shakespeare, L Frank Baum, LM Montgomery, and Edgar Allan Poe
I read this about a year or two ago & I loved it. I am trying to watch all the movies made from it as well. One of my favorite Austen books =)
Loved the hobbit ever since I was a kid. My dad loved these books when he was growing up & insisted I read them. I fell in love with them as well. I wish they would make a Hobbit movie. Never understood why they didn't with the popularity of the Lord of the Rings movies.
Hi everyone,I'm Jessi & I'm 29. I'm from California but currently live in Nevada. Very excited to be a part of this group. Ever since I was little my parents encouraged my reading but my daddy always insisted I read classic books as well as whatever I wanted. Well I fell in love with classic books because of it & haven't stopped reading them to this day. I'm currently reading Arabian Nights (As well as other non classics) Look forward to chatting with you all.
