John, glad you had a good visit to the Bay Area - sorry you couldn't make it to the meeting! Next time you're back, hopefully.I'm also going to miss it - work has its tentacles around me like an ichor-covered slave of Cthulhu (I'm sure there's a Potterverse equivalent I'm not thinking of). By end of April, this particular project will be done, so I hope to back on S&L track then!
Hi all, just a note that the club is taking Nov and Dec off for the holidays. Next meeting will be Mon, Jan 28 (I'll add an RSVP link when we get closer).

Anyone going to WorldCon this weekend in San Jose?Veronica's on panels Sat and Sun, Tom has a podcasting panel on Sun, and of course both are in the Awards ceremony, S&L up for Best Fancast.
Previously when I visited the WorldCon site, they didn't have day passes, but now they do -- I'm going Sat and Sun.
