Veronica and Tom briefly discussed Maurice Leblanc's Arsène Lupin, who is featured in a Netflix series that I haven't watched yet, but plan to. In LeBlanc's novel The Blonde Lady: Being A Record Of The Duel Of Wits Between Arsene Lupin And The English Detective, the name of the English Detective varies by publisher and edition. He is known as Herlock Sholmès in US translations, and Holmlock Shears in UK translations. However, there are a few editions of the book where he is known by his true name...
I have a copy of this vintage paperback, but the pages are browned and brittle, so I'll probably read the Gutenberg edition...
