No worries Sky. Happy to have any amount. Congrats on winning the auctions! I really like Django Wexler's writing. I'm sure his critiques will be better than mine. lol.

Considering we're over 5k with matching and nearly 4k ($3,960.70) from members alone, we crushed our goal of 1k.

Oh and for anyone else who planned to donate and hasn't yet, there is about 1 day left!.

Yeah I rolled off of both Arrow and Flash but I watch Supergirl and Legends of Tomorrow. And I added in Batwoman this year.

I enjoyed the 3 parts they've shown so far. I'm kind of annoyed they broke it up until January though.

I think the cameos and easter eggs have been the best part. I was a huge Smallville fan back in the day so I think that's been my favorite part.

Well if you firm something up in the next few days (I typically send around the 22nd or 23rd, but it's basically 24 hours after T&V announce the pick to the Patreons) or if you just want me to include your tenative date let me know.

Apparently the actor who played Arjun was unavailable (he booked a different show after the Expanse was cancelled) so they had to re-cast him. Not terribly excited by Arjun 2.0.

But maybe it's the writing too. He feels more like an adviser than her husband in this season.

Totally missed that. The leader was Bill Burr (an American comedian). I used to like him and have seen him live, but some of his statements lately have me less of a fan.

But they were marked book spoilers...

I thought this episode was decent, but still very little plot development. Just another one off.

Did you guys catch Dave Fiolini (view spoiler)[as one of the x-wing pilots at the end? He's credited as "Trapper Wolf" so I guess now he's cannon.Well deserved. (hide spoiler)]

I had hoped his involvement with the show meant we'd get more plot though. Most of these tales feel like they could have just as easily been an episode of any sci-fi show or western.

I finished as well.

And yeah, I liked TV Elvi far more than book Elvi and I think them (view spoiler)[dropping the Holden infatuation (hide spoiler)] was a big reason why.

New speculation for season 5 based on spoilers for Nemesis Games (view spoiler)[I guess they went more with option B, although it looks like they are going to resolve it by killing off Gao at the start of season 5 and Avasarala will remain in place until a new election can take place.

Also, I was starting to wonder if they'd end with the asteroid rain but instead they stopped just before leaving everyone who hasn't read the books what might happen next. (hide spoiler)]

Oh and the save the expanse discord has an episode by episode set of chat rooms. I think they are going to merge them all into a single season 4 chat room after only about a week or so though.

Nope In Cibola Burn (view spoiler)[Avasarala is still an undersecretary in the UN, not secretary general. Her political rival on the show, Nancy Gao, had defeated Gillis during Abaddon's Gate and wasn't mentioned at all during Cibola Burn apparently. I looked this all up because I didn't remember myself. I didn't remember Avasarala being in charge of the UN at this point and I was right. (hide spoiler)]

Then in Nemesis Games (view spoiler)[ apparently Gao went missing after the bombardment and that's when Avasarala takes over as interim Secretary General. (hide spoiler)]


Speculation about season 4 (after episode 6)/5: (view spoiler)[I'm really wondering how they are going to resolve the changes they made for this season.

My guess is Avasarala will either win the election and they just re-purposed Gao into someone to make her story arc in season 4 more interesting than simply wondering about Illus.

or (and I hope this isn't the way they go) she loses and Gao still goes missing and somehow Avasarala returns to power next season. (hide spoiler)]

If you can pace yourself the Save the Expanse folks are doing a weekly schedule and it looks like the writer's twitter account is organizing some kind of live tweeting stuff as well.

Anyone else watching season 4 yet? It dropped early last night but I didn't get a chance to watch until today. I've blown threw the first 7 episodes since getting home from. Really enjoying it so far.
