I am sorry that nobody has joined your discussion. Stay with us as we work to grow our community. Anyway, I don't know much about poetry. I learned a little about the subject when I took a semester of Hebrew Poetry (Psalms) in seminary. I did find "Inspirations from Heaven's Gate" on KU and added it to my list. I am preparing to preach a funeral, but I will try to get it read by next week. Hopefully, then, I will have more to add to the conversation.
I am looking for review for my Christmas nonfiction book titled, "The Nativity: How the Story of Christmas Can Change Your Life." Someone said that it was like a living nativity scene. Each chapter spotlights a character from the story of the birth of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. If you are interested, let me know. The book is free on KU, I can email you a pdf, and I have a small amount of paperbacks that have been made available. I can mail you one if you prefer. Thanks so much. God bless.
Hello,My name is James Collins and I am the new moderator for this group. I am a follower of Jesus, author, pastor, columnist, retired U.S. Army Chaplain, husband, dad, and janitor. My calling is to be an effective communicator of God's Word. To that end, I will use any means possible - a pulpit on Sunday, a newspaper column, or a book. I write a weekly syndicated newspaper column and I am also the author of several books.
My heart's desire is to lead people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. Since 2016, I have served as senior pastor of First Southern Baptist Church in Fort Scott, Kansas. My wife and I have three awesome kids. We live in a Victorian house that we are in the process of renovating.
I look forward to getting to know more believer's and learning from each other. If you are a Christian author, reader, blogger, or if you work in Christian publishing, let's connect. Introduce yourself in this thread. Follow me and I will follow you back.
Den,I will check out your blog and get back to you. I just took over as administrator of this group. I hope to have it relaunched soon.
