I just finished reading Nadine's book. Here is my review:Beautiful Story of God's Faithfulness
Little Peek-A-Hoot is an owl who has many questions about life. So, he takes his questions to his Father. Father shares wisdom from the Bible as he lovingly answers Peek-A-Hoot's questions. He teaches patience (Psalm 46:10), trust (1 Peter 5:7), wisdom (James 1:5), courage (Ephesians 6:10), and faith (Psalm 91:4). "Will You Always Be Here?" contains beautiful illustrations and a wonderful story that will help children learn more about God's love. The author and illustrator, Nadine Damo, has a gift for seeing through a child’s eyes. Yet, her book is written in a simple language, and loaded with images that will appeal to both children and parents. Short enough to read in a Sunday School lesson or as part of family devotions, the book offers a meaningful narrative on faith. The ending could be easily expanded to talk about the immutable God who does not change and who brings comfort in an unsettled world. The book makes me nostalgic for the time when I read books to my own children, and makes me look forward to reading this one to future grandchildren. The beautiful story, and a sweet ending make for a solid addition to your picture book library. Children will enjoy hearing this one read more than once.
Denise,I just entered. I also added it on KU. I look forward to reading it. God's blessings to you as you serve Him.

Oh, by the way, I was so worried about using the passive voice in my review that my wife had to edit it five times...

I read Bob's book this week and here is my review:Truly an Enlightening Read
Bob Jennerich’s Facing Life’s Challenges Head On is a comforting and encouraging book in a world that is desperately searching for answers. He tackles the challenges of anxiety, fear, doubt, rejection, temptation, guilt and shame, money, comparison, sickness, and compromise with practical teaching from the Word of God. At times, it feels like an autobiography with this lawyer turned pastor expertly weaving in stories from his life as illustrations. Jennerich, to his credit, shares his doubts just as honestly as he shares his faith. Yet, his pastor’s heart comes through on each page as he offers examples of people from the Bible who learned how to get through what they couldn’t get around. The author shows his readers that we can depend on Jesus. He is sufficient to meet all our needs. I would recommend Facing Life’s Challenges Head On to believers and nonbelievers alike. I have read and reread the entire book. It is truly an enlightening read. It took me deeper into understanding Scripture, and how to go about overcoming the challenges in my own life.

I really like KU. My wife and I are avid readers, and we both use the subscription. Still, I am a little old fashioned, and like to hold an actual book in my hands. However, I am adjusting to my Kindle. All in all, I think KU is a great value.
All,I read Andrew's book last night and it is amazing! Here is my review:
A True Story That Will Leave You With Hope, Encouragement, And A Deeper Faith
It is always encouraging to come across a book that accurately shows the reality of the trials that people face in life. The Storm That Grew My Faith is one of those rare books that combines Biblical wisdom, real life struggles, and inspiration. It is the true story of husband and wife, Andrew and Crystal Golden. The focus of the narrative deals with the couple's struggle while conceiving a child, and the challenges that come when their son, Malachi, is born. The story is told by Andrew, who openly and honestly shares his battles "in the storm." As a husband, and father, Andrew's genuineness left an indelible imprint on my life. This story will stay with me for a long time. The Storm That Grew My Faith is an inspiring, refreshing, and hopeful book. I recommended it for anyone who confronts challenging life problems, and desires to have a more meaningful relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.
Andrew,Welcome to the group. I will definitely take a look at The Storm That Grew My Faith. God bless you as you serve Him.
