I hope you feel better soon and glad you are able to read, not always the case when sick. The up side is seeing so many check marks, you are killing these challenges. I usually love science fiction, been neglecting it lately, I need to do better.
Get well!!

I've read Pigeon Feathers, ashamed to say I don' t remember it, time for a reread. Enjoy your science fiction, I've been neglecting it.

Welcome to the group Donna!

I like your review. I've never read anything by Philip Roth, but I have
American Pastoral on my shelf.

Thanks for another great review.

You have some really nice choices. Especially Lonesome Dove, The Moonstone, 1984, and The Tenant of Wildfell Hall.

You have some great reads ahead, especially White Fang, Call of the Wild, and Anna Karenina. I know as hard as I try I will break down and buy books this year. You have two on your list I have already decided to buy. I just need to hold off long enough for it to look like I meant what I said about not buying new books. I want The Sea, The Sea and The Westing Game.
How did you fair with Miss Pettigrew?

I enjoy Wilkie Collins, as much as I struggle with Kafka. Two finished you are on your way.

four finished, you are doing well, and such a nice list.

Looks like one to add to my TBR, thanks.

That's the same bingo diagonal I was sure I would claim, don't let I2 get you to

Welcome to the challenge, enjoy

Outstanding list, you should have an excellent year.

I see you like science fiction. A great list, enjoy.

Six days into the new year and I'm chipping away. I have started two for my Old & New
War and Peace and
Deep South, both going well. I finished two short stories for Second Place or Worse,
The Minister's Black Veil and
The Bottle Imp, both are really good. In addition I am reading
Angle of Repose which is also one for this challenge. I have also read one of our 2021 Group reads,
The Captain's Daughter, which also gave me my first new author for challenge 8. I am getting an early start on our February short story,
Songs of Innocence and of Experience. I've been working on it since the 2nd and I'm close to finishing my first read through. I will reread it along with an audio version, this helps me with plays and poetry.
That's it, I'm hoping for a good year and it the first six days is an indication it's going to be great

Looks like you have things nicely planned, good luck.

Wayne, welcome!

Welcome Jun and Bridget, glad you are with us.

The grid looks good, I can't wait to see it change colors, like waiting for the fall leaves.

Ender's Game, a great way to start the year.
