LOL! Well, I really do have to agree with you on that.
**hugs**

Well... I could give you a hug :)
And I can also tell you that on Facebook she said she'll be working on a couple if I-Team novellas to come out before the next full length novel, so that's something to look forward to!

I just heard from my editor regarding DEFIANT. She finished it over the weekend, and she said she “loved, loved, loved, loved it.” She said she thinks it’s a phenomenal story and said she doesn't think there will be a dry eye in the house. I am SO relieved and happy to know she likes it! RIDE THE FIRE will be out in February 2013 and the next I-Team book will be out in March 2013.

But no one can beat Zach *sigh*

Chewy Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies
• 1 cup butter, softened
• 1 cup packed light brown sugar
• 1/2 cup white sugar
• 2 eggs
• 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
• 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
• 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 3 cups quick oats
• 1 cup chopped walnuts
• 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Directions
1. Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).
2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and white sugar until smooth. Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla. Combine the flour, baking soda, and salt; stir into the creamed mixture until just blended. Mix in the quick oats, walnuts, and chocolate chips. Drop using cookie scoop onto ungreased baking sheets.
3. Bake for 12 minutes in the preheated oven. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely. Be careful not to overcook because these can go from chewy to crunchy really fast!
Note: If using regular oats, cook for 14-16 minutes
