38356 Breaking Point is a must read next, Kelly. There's a scene in there... brought me to tears the first time I read it and still does, every time I re-read the book.

Definitely move on to Breaking Point. I promise, you'll be amazed.
38356 Yes, November 27, this Wednesday.
38356 It'll be $2.99, but I'm not sure when/if pre-order will be available.
38356 Cover Blurb:

Reunite with the MacKinnon brothers and their wives for Christmas - and a tale of love, new life, and redemption.

The war between Britain and the French is finally at an end, and the MacKinnons are looking forward to celebrating their first peacetime Christmas in five long years. While Iain and Annie have discovered that the pleasures of marriage grow deeper with time, Morgan and Amalie find themselves at bitter odds. Meanwhile, Connor and Sarah have a newborn son to cherish.

The family's preparations for the holidays are interrupted when Iain learns that Britain has not paid the Rangers for the summer's victorious campaigns. Unwilling to let men who fought under the MacKinnon name suffer deprivation at Christmastime, Iain, Morgan, and Connor leave the warmth of their frontier home for Albany. There, they find their happy Christmas, and even their freedom, at risk at the hands of a ruthless British officer who holds a grudge against them.

With the men gone, Annie, Amalie, and Sarah do their best to prepare for the festivities despite differing traditions, a raging bull - and the gnawing fear that their husbands won't make it home in time for Yule.

Events begin the day after the epilogue of Defiant ends. The story includes Joseph, Killy - and revelations about the fate of Lord William Wentworth.

38356 I really enjoy Jill Shalvis. Even though I haven't read it, I think you'll like her story. She does novellas very well.

I'm heading to bed. It's early, but I had a busy day.

Good chatting with you, doll!! *hugs*

38356 And anthologies can be tough! You might have one or two good books, and three or more sucky ones. Those are hard to rate!

Do tell!!!!!!

Sophie Oaks writes some funny stuff. Hot, but LOL funny. The Bliss Colorado series is the freakin' bomb. She's like the queen of menage!

Believe it or not, I don't want to read it. Or I should say, I don't want to request it and "owe" a review. *sigh*

38356 I've read so many great books over the years that a lot of other stories fall short. There are very few dependable authors out there. Off the top of my head - Pamela Clare, of course, is always a sure bet. Kristen Ashley, Sarah MacLean, Jennifer Ashley, Eloisa James, Sophie Oaks, Cherise Sinclair...

38356 Hey, Best Buy Deal of the Day is a Kindle Fire HD 8GB for $119, but we're not going to get it. The beauty of going Paperwhite is no gaming temptation for the boys.

38356 That's a great idea, Bean!

38356 Pamela, at night, after I've said my end of the day prayers, I often wonder if there was something I should have/could have done that day to make a positive difference in someone's life. I always worry that an opportunity might have been given to me, one that I totally missed.

38356 So now I'm reading Captive: The Forbidden Side of Nightshade, and the world is incredibly intriguing. But, I've been peeking at reviews and people are saying that they wish they had read the YA Nightshade series first because of the world building that's already explained.

38356 Nice! The reason I asked is I'm thinking of getting one for my 10 year old grandson for Christmas. I'm done with gifting video games. He's a voracious reader - just started The Hobbit - and so I think he'd love having his own eReader.
