36119 Good, because I had already moved Their Eyes Were Watching God to my shelf ;)

36119 I am presuming "their" as well as "theirs"?

36119 I read and likes Adeline: A Novel of Virginia Woolf previously, and The Master is already on my dedicated season shelf of books.

Planning on knocking some more off my Joan Didion reading:

Democracy
Salvador and
South and West: From a Notebook

should all work, leaving
A Book of Common Prayer
Let Me Tell You What I Mean and
Where I Was From

for other tasks.

36119 Thanks, pretty sure I own all except the Ishiguro, bury so far my reading of him has shown him to always be a good choice

36119 So after all this discussion I added Libby to my apps and have 17 books for next season, not including 65 Agatha Christie, of which I am sure there are many I haven’t read. Would be better if I wasn’t driving my brother to and from work, which really eats in to my listening time.

Normally I use BorrowBox for my audiobooks.

36119 So you get a halfway bonus on completion of both 10 and 20 point tasks, or just for one?

Wondering if I get another 50pts ;)

36119 The Girls in the Picture will work, for this and biographical fiction. I think I came across Frances Marion via a podcast on women's history.

36119 I think there is a lot of crossover potential between this and biography. When I finish my coffee(and last book to complete the challenge, I will post one that will work that I read a couple of years ago.

And there are so many on those film lists I recognise from our shelves! Of course, the ones that sparked my interest we probably don’t have….

36119 Fiction, as well as non-fiction?

I am trying to convince my husband to join, and 95% of his books are film books, so hoping this helps twist that arm further ;)

36119 Last year I read 7 books, so I set my goal for 36. I think I am currently at 70, mostly thanks to RwS, and Mary’s suggestion of Rivers or London for Group Reads 😉

36119 Not a question for help, but has anyone else noticed how often the first and last letter is the same? I swear it is occurring in my owned books more than should be statistically possible!
