I don't think you're right about the missed combo. The kindle edition shows 330 pages, but the MPE is the paperback edition (we take the most popular print edition if there is one), which has 328 pages.

Based on the clarifications for 20.7, the combo for this one is not allowed. The doctor's training would have been longer than the short travel that the task creator intended for this task.

As posted in the 10.3 thread, I already had The Three-Body Problem pencilled in for 20.5. It's a library book, but it's looking more and more attractive for the ..."
I really liked that trilogy. The books are pretty complicated/high concept and are just fascinating. Also, I found them to be exquisitely foreign--some of the ideas and solutions to problems struck me as completely different from anything a westerner would have proposed.

I think secrets that are something like a spy ring or war construction work -- these are a group of people essentially plotting/working together to undermine a government. Whether it's criminal sort of depends on your perspective. Certainly, the government being spied on would call it treason.
Secrets that are really mundane, like teen gossip where a person is working with a friend to steal someone else's boyfriend, probably doesn't rise to the level of conspiracy. Similarly, secrets that are basically fun, like planning a surprise party, don't qualify.

Amazon lists this as Light Boxes: A Novel, so I'm going to say no to this one unless when you read it, you find that it's more interconnected poems than fable or novel.

For short stories, all the stories should fit a task for them to count for the task. This is obviously easier for an author based task and harder for a more subject oriented task.
