I have been doing SRC for as long as I've been on goodreads. When I first began I usually finished it but I now finish it less and less often. I like to pick and choose the tasks, avoiding the vague ones with many options but doing the ones that take a bit more thought.

One of my aims for next year is to take a season off from challenges and just go to the library and browse the shelves to choose my reading.

I gave up trying to stop my mother-in-law from doing housework when she visited. I found she was a better visitor and visits went more smoothly if I gave her a specific job to do. When we lived far apart and visits lasted a couple of days it was necessary to keep her busy.

My mother, on the other hand, doesn't have the cleaning gene either so she is no problem!
