Why is it sexy to have a male vampire watch a girl as she sleeps? why would a girl find this romantic it just gives me the creeps! perhaps he is on a diet and just waiting for breakfast time.

As to watching children as they sleep, well that can be normal, parents watch their children sleep all the time but it is mostly followed by giving them a poke with a finger to see if they are still alive!

There used to be a detective radio series which I have forgotten the name of, a husband and wife traveling the world and arresting master criminals, the wife was called Steve and the one thing that sticks in the mind is that every time she went to powder her nose she would get kidnapped!

Do know where I can get hold of this story? I have friends that are descendants of Scott's antarctic expeditions and it would be such a joke to send them this story as a Christmas present!

Love of a Vampyre

Ronin sat on the beach looking at the reflection of the full moon cascading over the shimmering water. Behind him the beach party was in full swing, he was waiting to see if his mystery woman would turn up. He had seen her a few nights before, strolling up the beach alone, kicking at the sand as she walked.

She had noticed him but not approached him and he had not approached her. He was just mesmerised with her beauty. The thought of her turning up whilst he was waiting for her was exciting. Deep down Ronin knew she would show, especially with the moon in all its’ glory.

Ronin had lost track of time and he didn’t appear to be missed too much from the party. He was too engrossed in the surrounding beauty and the image of his mystery woman that he hadn’t notice the slight drop in the temperature.

Ophelia stood behind Ronin watching him breath deeply. She placed a hand gently on his shoulder. He jumped slightly at her cold touch, but when he saw the beauty that stood in front of him he took in a gasp then he started to smile and relax. “I am glad you came, I was hoping you would show up” he said to her. She just smiled at him and sat down next to him on the sand. She was even more beautiful then Ronin had imagined she would be. He had only previously seen her from afar. Her long raven coloured hair blew slightly in the breeze, her skin was pale and very soft on the eyes. Her lips as red as blood but seemed very soft and gentle enticing him to want to lean in and kiss them. Her eyes, a deep violet, very hypnotic, drawing him in or anybody who were to look in to them. Ophelia took Ronin’s hand in hers and finally she spoke, “My name is Ophelia, I have heard your lonely words calling out through the night and I have answered your calling”, with that she leaned over and gently kissed him on the lips. Ronin had fallen immediately under her spell. Ophelia licked her lips as she pulled slowly away from Ronin. Her eyes sparkled like diamonds on a blanket of silk. She said to him, “Your taste is sweet and almost pure. You will become my soul mate and I will become yours”. Ronin was already hypnotised with her beauty and was agreeing to anything that she said to him whether he was actually listening or not.

He finally composed him self and asked her if she would like to join the party and maybe have a dance or two. Ophelia said that she would rather go for a walk along the beach holding hands as it was such a lovely night and she was in a romantic sort of mood plus she said it would be a good opportunity for them both to bond. He agreed with her instantly. “Maybe we can join the party a little later” she suggested with a slight twinkle in her eyes.

The attraction between the two young people was instant chemistry, it was like they had known each other all their lives . As they walked together they started to talk a lot more, but not once did she let go of his hand. Further down the beach they approached some rocks, Ophelia stopped and said to Ronin that they must stop there and sit upon the rocks to just watch and take in the beauty surrounding them.

Ronin could feel the chemistry building up between the two of them and it was exciting. He had never felt it with anyone else. As they sat closely together they watched the spray attacking the rocks with lust. Ophelia turned Ronin’s face towards her and gently she stole another kiss from him. She kissed him deeply and passionately. She opened her eyes and said to Ronin, “let me take you, become one and we will be together forever”. Ronin was already deeply involved only he didn’t quite know it yet. He edged forward to kiss her again, his hands running through her long dark hair, he pulled her towards him as he said the words, “take me now, I am yours forever”.

After the words had left Ronin’s mouth, Ophelia’s eyes turned from her enticing violet to black and she leaned in to kiss him more passionately then he would ever be kissed again, only now she started to kiss down his neck. She looked up to the moon and smiled slyly. She went back to his neck and she sunk her fanged teeth in to his flesh sucking on his blood that was now flowing freely. Ronin didn’t fight or push her away, he did tense up a bit but then he started to relax. He welcomed the feeling of ecstasy that was now flowing throughout his lifeless body. When she had finished feasting on his blood, Ronin’s body fell against the rock on which they sat. Ophelia let him sleep for a while and when he opened his eyes again he looked straight into her now violet eyes. They made love there on the rocks under the moonlight against the sounds of the waves crashing. Their bodies moved in unison with every loud crash of the waves and under the moonlight, Ophelia’s skin looked and felt just like silk. Ronin’s hands caressed her curved body feeling her passion enclose deep within him.

They looked up at the moon still holding each other’s hands’ after they were both satisfied, Ophelia began to speak, “your soul belongs to me now, you will never have your old life back, you will stay eternally youthful as do I and we will be together forever. I am Queen Ophelia, Queen of what the mortals call the underworld, I call it home. You will be my King and together we will feast on the innocent, their blood is much more pure. You can never go back, is there anything you wish to say?”

Ronin leaned up on his elbow and looked deep into Ophelia’s violet eyes and with whispered words he breathed, “You have made me what you are and as long as I have you by my side I will be forever yours. But now my sweet, it is time for us to feast on our celebration of becoming”.

They took each other’s hands and looked into each others eyes and they both knew what they must now do. They walked slowly back towards the party where the party was now in full swing. A feast of the young was awaiting their return. They kissed each other on the lips and separated from each other ready to pounce on their prey.

With gender differences I think we have only 3 males in this group of 38 but then look at the male female membership in Goodreads so 3 of of 38 could be normal

Ok, Ok nor have I, my wife already looks at me in a funny way when I talk to the fish in our pond and as to worshiping me, they do not even like me, I’m the only one that feeds them and they still hide from me.

But being a writer means you have to create a world and populate it, you control the day to day lives of all on the world, you make it as real as possible for your readers and still you have this nagging fear that someone will notice that no one ever goes to the bathroom or if they do it is only to get shot, raped or sent off to a parallel dimension where lizards are playing baseball.

So being a god is really nothing to shout about !

Wow this book is after Blood the last vampire I loved the book, anime and film.

Huuuuuuummmmm I dont know Hellsing but if you want to see blood then take a look at Elfen Lied

I do not know what the books are like:
Elfen Lied Vol 1

But the Anime is er..... Dark with a capital .. D .. if you like dark anime then this is the best, just like a vampire film but with extra blood! the music is also great.

If you like Vampire manga books this one is cute! By mistake a human boy gets Enrolled in a school for monsters and gets himself a vampire girlfriend!it is also done as anime film but in Japanese with English subtitles

Blade just lived to kill things vampires and human servants but the vampires ran businesses and acted more like normal business people (well seeing what some so called normal business people are like) with a blood addiction, on a dark night I would be more worried about meeting Blade !!
