Also I think I'm learning! Got 5% into a book and hated it, so actually gave up. The acknowledgement that life it too short for a rubbish book has stuck for this particular case.
It'll take me a week or so but I'll get there!
If you really don't get on with it, one of the books on those lists is on my tbr.I had also thought that the Discworld industrial series might come in helpful.
