It has now been 3 weeks since my surgery so I was out and about to clients a few times this week. It has been nice but also tiring!
It does mean my reading has slowed back to usual levels, but I finished

I've finished my first for the new round :)


I'm older than Britney, so I didn't grow up with her, or her music. By the time she debuted I was well into grunge stage and didn't pay a whole lot of attention.
Since #freebritney started I have been interested in the conservatorships in America and how we treat female stars differently. And it was through that lens that I found myself wanting to read this book.
What a horrible 13 years she endured. Hopefully she can now find herself again.
