Weekend was a success! My husband got me a lovely gift!


Now I just have to decide if I want to finish some of the other books I recently got, or just dive in! Decisions!!!

Finished . I've been enjoying revisiting one of my favorite couples from this perspective!

I'm going to try and start tonight, now that I have those library ones back! Took me way too long!

You're in for a treat then! I wasn't sure I wanted to read the "spin-off". I read The Others quite a while ago and loved it, but my husband got me the first for Christmas and I had to, so... it was GREAT!

I should have finished today. I'm kind of annoyed that I'm not enjoying it as much as I thought I would. I made excellent progress on last night, so hopefully I will finish before this weekend when it's due back to the library!

I'm trying to get through my books, I've been having some "reading slump"... I'm hoping to get more into A ​Court of Silver Flames tonight. My littlest has asthma and has been keeping me up coughing at night, so by the time I settle in to read, I'm falling asleep... bah!

Eh, not really. Her mother dies in childbirth.... I mean I guess that would make the relationship difficult.. but, I don't think that fits.

TBH, I was really confused by this book. I know people in the reviews said it was very easily to follow, but I didn't share that view...

The SS for UNO was wild! I swear... rogue Pineapple Street! I noticed it's continuing here, haha! The book I just switched for you, now is showing as Throne of Glass to me... smh

Are other people having trouble with this? I have added the edition for books only to have it somehow change once I've added it to my shelf...

I thought at first it was because I used the default edition and then maybe my kindle changed the book that I started reading (you know, that whole "mark as cr on gr" thing... but one of them I specifically selected an edition and then changed everything to match, and it was wrong again.

Who knows. I'll just try to be extra vigilant in triple-checking the editions! Bah! I don't want to make more work for our lovely captains!
