I've made it to Chapter 31!

I have to think... that if it weren't for the period's need to be so ... descriptive... this could be a shorter book.

That being said, 14 years and then some passes within the first 25% of the book, so...

Ok, so I've made it to Chapter 17 and I'm actually enjoying this. It is definitely wordy, but the story is good!

I feel suspicious of Dante's prisoner friend...

I will most likely start on my Battle Book on Monday. I would really like to try and make some headway with The Count of Monte Cristo. There is an informal buddy read happening, if anyone would like to join. It's just for fun, no extra points... but it's a big ole' book, so, definitely some nice page points!

A book was sent to District 9! I chose one of our copies of The Wishing Game as it uses all resources and I'm hopeful it might also work for a mini in the future.

I have communicated that our preferences for incoming supply drops will stay the same for now (protecting resources)!

We are hopeful, given that it's also a BOM for the group, that it may be useful for any upcoming Mini Challenges this round (though they are as of yet unknown)!

Also, thank you for your question about what preferences we might have! We are happy with whatever you would like to send over, but protecting resources will probably stay our main goal, unless the devious Game Makers change things up...

Now that we are done with setting up our Arena Battle with District 10, we can discuss Supply Drops for District 9 for this Round!

🏹 Should we go with the same "strategy" this round and send books that are usable for any resource?

Ok, last update for the day on this one. I was able to sneak in 2 more chapters at work today and so far I'm only a tiny bit confused.

Who exactly is the person who is chasing/pining/being generally a creep... after Mercedes? He seems... like a lot.
