35559 Good morning team! Just a quick reminder that the only spreadsheet you can use is our Team Tracking Sheet (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/...).

Please don't request edit access for any other sheets, but feel free to look around! 😉

For the moment, I plan to use everything as it comes in. If it starts to look like someone is "over" reading, then I will start switching out and playing Captain Tetris!

35559 🎡 Happy Sunday, Team! 🎡
I usually whip up a "Sunday Update," but since we're only on Day 2 of our adventure, this one will be short and sweet! 🍭

📚 New Column Alert! 🚨
I've added a shiny new column to the spreadsheet for the publication dates of books that meet the bonus requirement. So, if you've got a book that fits the bill, don’t forget to sprinkle in that info! ✨

🔄 Moving and Grooving! 💃
I've been doing some serious book shuffling and added some preliminary letters to help us spot any obvious letter gaps. Spoiler alert: I's are looking like they need some love! So keep those peepers peeled! 👀

🔍 Keep Searching!
If you see a letter next to your book, no worries—those are still very much up for grabs! Feel free to keep searching for new letter options. Book placements are not set in stone, even if we add them to the main sheet, we can move them to make sure we use everyone's books!

📖 Happy Reading!
We’re off to a fantastic start, let’s keep this momentum rolling! Happy reading, everyone! 🎉

35559 How is everyone's first (or second) book so far?

I started God of the Woods, and it seems like it'll be a good read! I didn't have as much time today to read as I would have liked, but tomorrow is Sunday, so I'm hoping to get a nice chunk accomplished!

35559 Also, just a quick notice that I will probably be unavailable until later on today - I'm just sneaking in at work (today was my first day well enough to get here!) to give us a quick countdown post.

Happy Reading (in 2 hours.....)

I had to look it up, because I haven't seen that movie in 1 million years, but yes, it is. I don't honestly know how to feel about that.

35559 Oh, and honestly, my favorite series I've read this year is Beartown.

Beartown (Beartown, #1) by Fredrik Backman Us Against You (Beartown, #2) by Fredrik Backman The Winners (Beartown, #3) by Fredrik Backman

I just loved it. It was so well written and I cried and laughed, and ... ugh! I just loved it.

35559 Ah, I'm feeling much more human today. Yesterday was rough.

I am thirding The Frozen River. That book was amazing. We read it as one of our IRL book club books this year. We are reading The God of the Woods this month, so will report back on that one.

Other books I read recently that I really liked:

Ninth House - this was surprising, I didn't really enjoy The Familiar or Gideon the Ninth, so I wasn't sure, but I loved this one. I bought the next, so maybe I'll read it during the challenge.

A Discovery of Witches - an older one I had never managed to read before (another book club pick) and loved it.

Ask Again, Yes - this one surprised me. I enjoyed it way more than I thought I would.

As an aside - a terrible book I read recently... what the heck was this abomination? Love in the Time of Cholera I'm sure I'll offend someone, but I just despised this book. lol

35559 Thank you all for answering each other's questions! I am sick... my youngest brings all the germs to share and I spent most of the day in bed. I'll hopefully be back to normal in a couple days!

35559 Alternately (or additionally) Octavia Butler series "Xenogenesis" is an option!

I will make a note to expect a possible delay in reading and posting from you!
