I just finished my first book of the challenge, which is exciting!
I will take I-1 - read a book shelved as young adult by at least 10 people and read

And have fun at Keith Urban Joyce! That should be a great show!

Although I-1 - read a book by an author who died in 2015-2016 looks hard. I did some quick googling and came up with this website if anyone wants to check if that matches something on their TBR: http://www.tributes.com/celebrity/dea....
I think I will go with Soulless. Like Sherri's book, it works for:
H-1 - read a book shelved as fantasy by at least 10 people (shelved by 3039)
J-10 - read a book which has the main location (setting) as the UK (set in London)
A-10 - read one-word title book (Soulless!)
Oh, and it actually works for
B-2 - read a book with an average goodreads rating of between 3.51 and 3.99 (3.91 as of 06/16)
So where ever it fits best.

I'm in the 1-2 range. Of course, that depends on the length of the book and the business of my week
What book are you reading (are you enjoying it)?
I'm almost finished Manners & Mutiny. I'm enjoying it, although I think it's my least favourite in the series so far.
What's up next?
Next up is A Curse Dark as Gold, although that is flexible based on what we need for Battleship.

Book:

Rating: 2 stars (and that was generous)
Review: This book did not work for me. The world-building was super sketchy (like (view spoiler) ). I kind of lost the whole point of the story and I really had to force myself to sit down and finish it this afternoon. For a book under 300 pages, it felt really long! And the ending was really unsatisfying after all of that. (view spoiler)
I don't enjoy writing negative reviews, but my goodness that book was a tough slog to make it to the end and I want to complete my review for the mini-challenge before I forget.["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>

Read a book where someone does something hard and there is a rock/stone/building or other extremely hard thing on the cover.

Rock on the cover and one of the characters escapes from the dragon, which was pretty difficult.
Receive 1 Merely Kat pelt (to combat the hardness), 1 experience and 1 Hard Place.

I see. But what if you read it and l..."
Oh, that would be a very sad situation indeed! I guess the love story would have to keep me warm at night!

Q1. What's your favorite spot in which to read?
In bed or on the couch. The couch is better if my boyfriend isn't watching tv, because in the bed I tend to fall asleep.
Q2. Do you have a favorite book that is your go-to recommendation?
If I think people would enjoy YA, I recommend Cinder. If not, probably The Importance of Being Earnest
Q3. What are your top five books that you wouldn't be without if you had to live on a deserted island?
Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone - favourite of my life
The Belgariad Boxed Set: Pawn of Prophecy / Queen of Sorcery / Magician's Gambit / Castle of Wizardry / Enchanters' End Game 0 my fallback fantasy series (cheated by choosing box set)
Anne of Green Gables - bring a little of my home country
Born Wicked - I've been planning on rereading this one soon
Gone with the Wind - Simply for the sheer number of pages which can be used to start a signal fire to get rescued!
Q4. What else do you enjoy doing besides reading?
Riding horses and playing games (video and board)
Q5. If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Bread fresh from the oven. With cheese.

Also, I'm a major Skyrim fan. But I'm the kind of person who gets really distracted doing all the side quests, so even though I've played hundreds of hours, I still haven't completed the main quest line.
