The first five are at my library :) I'll try to pick one up soon.

Nice! I don't know this cozy mystery series. I'll see if I can find one. I've never eaten ube. I didn't even know what it was until I just searched it. So purple!! What do you eat it with?

Thanks Deanna!
I should be finished with one mid-level country today.

Marie-Anne, could you put Stormbreaker on your shelf?

No problem. I looked up a book labeled “Nicaragua” from our library. But the it started in Él Salvador and then they left Nicaragua a few times. I kept talking to the book “get back to Nicaragua!” But alas, they did not.

Sounds good. I'll put it in for the kiwi dish.

Right now we are in first place!

Updates!
🌍We finished another itinerary! Hooray! With all of the new tasks available, we're going to try to keep these itineraries to medium and hard countries - more points.
🌍We've got a few more wacky things for mini 2:
🤯 Read a book which has the main location (setting) as a space station, space ship or anything along those lines
🤯Read a book which has the main location (setting) as a bus, train, or other road based vehicle
🤯Read a book tagged "Time Travel" at least 10x
🤯Read a book where a character gets on a plane
🤯Read a book with a countryside scene on the cover
🌍We're taking our time through Italy and France (good idea)
🌍We've eaten some good food.

Cordelia, I can get your books assigned to tasks once you accept my friend request (then I can see your book shelf).

Alaina, would you say that Sisters under the Rising Sun is set more than 50% in Singapore? (even 51% is okay :)

JL Roberts - could you please put
Leave Me Behind on your shelf? Thanks!

Moving onto part 3! After the interludes. They confused me the first time. I'll try to listen carefully this time.

Part 2 - I like Kaladin a bit better! What's up with Adolin?
(view spoiler)[ I do feel badly for Kaladin, but he should have just been a doctor already.
However! My favorite character has arrived!! Rock!!
If they kill him off, I'm going to be pissed.
He makes the story lighter, and gives it a more human feeling instead of the brooding of Kaladin.
I'm not sure I understand this whole Adolin / Dalinar dynamic yet. The whole brightlord, shardbearer, riding big horses, having visions, being paranoid about a broken leather strap (of course it was a murder plot!). I'm sure I'll get there!

June is almost over :)
Yes, Part 1 was a lot for Kaladin - he has some past stuff going on - making him so bitter.
(view spoiler)[I don't love him yet, but I am somewhat interested. He's a bit too petulant. Shallan is okay too - I am wondering what's going to happen with Janath.
I usually latch onto a character when I first read a book, and I'm just not latching on yet. I am very interested in the world building though. Ardents, and soulcasting, and hearthstones. Some of it feels a little video-gameish, but that's okay. I am interested in that part! (hide spoiler)]
