I actually finished reading Year One. I just haven't plugged that all in yet. Nearly done with Food Wars 7. started Carry On yesterday. I think removing Fillet of Murder might be for the best at this point. Even though I'm losing some vinegar words that way. darn.

I am short on time! So, anyone can feel free to name my meals for me!! I'm trying to get 2 more books read by Saturday, which is going to be a doozy (considering one of them is over 500 pages). lol

I like the idea of a pub! I think it suits this menu very well. xD
Not sure what to suggest as a business name, though. O.o

Making great progress in my next book. But thank you all for being understanding. I'm curled up with a warm drink, in my blankets in bed, and tackling Year One. Excellent book so far!

Sorry I'm not getting as much books read as I had wanted, ya'll. I got sick with a cold, and now I have bronchitis, so it's been a struggle over here. Want to get one 500+ page book done, and a few other short ones, before our deadline in a week. Crossing my fingers.

So, has anyone heard from Frankie? Or do we need a new person?

If you need help finding and plugging in words, let me know! I've gotten pretty good at it. LOL. The spreadsheet was very hard for me to grasp at first, as well as half the rules, but after a bit I feel pretty comfortable with it. However, I'm horrible at explaining things, so I hope Cynthia can do a better job than me with all that. LOL.

I was confused for a couple minutes, but I figured it out. You type in the book, pick it, and then use the "Search this book" feature to find words.

Thank you so much! Luckily, Google Books is a really great resource. And you can check the entire book, which is really great! But thanks for finding those for me! I'll add them to what I've found. :)

I have a physical copy of the book, so I can't do the kindle thing. Really wish I could. I'll try to look at Google books, but I don't have any idea what that even is. LOL. They just don't mention enough food stuff in the book, it would seem.

Just wrapped up Vengeance in Death.

Having a hard time nailing down many words within the book that fit our challenge.

If anyone has a way to search for words or something, like an app or website, I'd appreciate the help.

We may have to get 2 replacement people if Emily & Frankie don't get back to us soon.

I think that sounds like a great plan!
I'll probably get through at least one super long book. And then some shorter ones and medium ones. And I'll focus on the food items instead of the drinks & desserts, unless my longer book can contribute. I'm hoping vinegar will be mentioned INSIDE the book I'm reading that mentions it in the description.

Definitely makes sense! I use a mix of kindle & other things. So, I'll figure out what to do when it comes to non kindle books. I'm going to have to go back through my recent read and mark some words.

Finished my first book, Ceremony in Death, and I'm not 100% sure what to do with it yet. Not sure if I should make it a spell it out or a scavenger. I can find different words within the book to use, but using letters might be better. I'll wait and see what everyone else does and then decide the best way to incorporate this one. :)
