Hey everyone! Finally bounced back from being sick. it was pretty terrible there for a while. But I should be done with my first book very soon. And then it's reading tons from there!

Hope everyone is enjoying their books! xD

I'm starting with Sandstorm. It's a bit of a long book, and I'm getting over being super sick. But, I'm on the mend and should be reading overtime very soon!

Okay! So, I haven't done one of these official introduction posts, as things have been crazy at the end of this month, but I'm going to throw one out there now.

My name is Kathryn (she/her). I'm from a small coastal town in the very northern part of California. I'm fortune enough to have the Pacific Ocean just blocks away and the Redwood National Park only a few miles away. I like to spend a lot of time outside, whether it be at the beach, the river, or on hiking trails.

I'm also a writer by trade. I have a Bachelor's degree in Creative Writing for Entertainment. I write stories, screenplays, comic book scripts, and video game scripts. Covid has made it hard to find work, but I've been doing okay for myself. Writing is my greatest passion and I'm happy to be able to hopefully do it for the rest of my life.

I'm excited to start this challenge in 2 days, as it's a lot different from any challenge I've done before on Goodreads. :)

Those words are so much easier to find than the last ones!
Might be able to find them in most books.

I think this round has been rough for me. I'm not sure I'm going to finish another book. life has been too hectic with the family. I feel like I haven't had time to breathe and do for myself in 2 weeks. so, sadly, we'll need to remove the books I put in there that aren't finished. I'm so sorry, all.

I'll get at least 2-3 books done by then. I'll have my Fillet of Murder done for the 3 vinegars that are in the book. so, that will help.

hey guys. I'm falling way behind in my reading. things have been pretty crazy around my family as of late. I'll be doing my next to play catch up & contribute more as soon as possible. sorry! and thanks.

I can find legume in some of my shorter books. I'm going to try to read some longer books this time around, as we get more Scavenger words with less books needed. But I agree with Deanna, "ube" is a weird one.

I'm already getting started on round 2! I'm going to try to read A LOT more books this time around. *determined flex* Lmao.

I don't have time to look at it right now (busy with birthday parties this weekend. 3 of them.), but your breakdown looks pretty good to me. Especially with not having any leftovers.

Finished up the last book I'll have time to read!
It got me 12 words, though, so that's nice!
Looking forward to round 2.

I would cut out the "and" between delicious & comfort. So that it says delicious comfort food. Flows better. Otherwise, I love it!

I'm glad that you were able to replace the vinegar ones I had to delete. I'm making good progress on Carry On. I'll definitely be finished by Friday night. Long, long book. But it's really, really entertaining. :)

If Stephanie needs help, I'm sure any one of us would be thrilled to help her. Maybe someone should message her directly and ask if she needs any help?
