I started reading Persephone, but because of yet another speedbump in the Iditarod Race (AMMP group), I am putting it on hold for a while. In stead I will start reading Ice and probably Den Eldste afterwards...

Finished The Princess Bride by William Goldman
Date read: 11/17/15, pg:465
First published: 1973. Chapters: 8+introduction

Setting: Florin, Europe
Characters: Buttercup, Westley, Inigo, Fezzic, Count Rugen, Miracle Max, Humperdinck
Misc: a person is thought to be lost(dead), but isn't. Pirates. Comments from author in between the story. A giant. A man with six fingers. Several people die. Mc comes back from the dead.

Finished The Princess Bride, 465pg. Don't think it fits any goal. I am off to bed, will add the details on Read thread tomorrow=)

I'll start reading The Princess Bride.

I'd say that works, technically she is cheating on her husband and the other guy discovers it eventually.

I'm back home after my course (courses arranged at hotels are so great, we got fantastic food!=P) and I try to decide for whitch book to read next.

I'm attending a workcourse this weekend so won't get much reading done..:-(

I'm considering joining for Uprooted, but will have to buy the book first. Sadly the library here doesn't have a very wide selection of books...

Finished Mockingjay, will add it to the read page. Doesn't fit any goal so far.

If the goals work similarly to those we had in the gladiator game, you just remove the book and we have an extra goal for a while and won't get a new one until we have completed two..=) But it might be different in this challenge

How does "Kill you twice" fit the criteria "the word ball, bat, uniform, racquet or team (plurals are acceptable) in the title"? (sorry for asking, but I don't see it..?)

Book removed from shelf btw. Too bad, but I'll just keep on reading=)

yeah, that was mine too, but want to check just in case=)

I just finished a book consisting of several short stories and have a question: Since there are several authors, settings etc, can we use such a book for that type of goals? Or would that be "cheating" since there are so many to choose from in the same book?

Doktorens datter has multiple points of view. The series is basically about all the people in a small village, so the point of view is switched in every new chapter:P

I can read Queen of Shadows, which is #4 in series, but I have to finish the one I'm reading first=) I probably have a cover with a road somewhere too..=P

I can't wait til Winter comes out tomorrow. I won't be able to get it anytime soon though, so I'm considering doing a re-read of the three previous books:P
