Wow! Can't believe how quickly you guys are completing these cards! Just finished a #5 series book and added it to the spreadsheet. My next book is not a series book so I will be either searching for essential oils or idioms as I read!

I just finished a book, Goldfish and stuck it on the spreadsheet for card 30 for the text with "love." The book also has the words "dinner" and "heart" if we need to switch it.

I just finished London Bridges by James Patterson (#10 Alex Cross series). I stuck it under #10 series book but first available was level 13. Didn't seem to fit any of the open cards on the s/s.

I can possibly do an essential oils search tomorrow but my husband needs to use the computer and I told him I'd be quick!

Had a hard time trying to figure out idioms outside of the more popular ones!

Finished another book but don't see a spot for it in either s/s section so stuck it in banked books for now.

Beth I'm really not sure what is going on with the leveling. My practical side says only fight the ones we can beat.....but I will go with what the majority of the group decided!

Okay, I just finished a book: President of the Whole Sixth Grade. It's the second book in a series so I stuck it on the next open one, Level 10. However, it has two "d"s in the title so not sure if you want to move it there.

I'm a little behind on what our strategy is here - read series books or read books that fit the cards. I'm definitely not the fastest of readers in this group, so I guess I'll just try to read series books and if they fit someplace else and we can use them sooner, do that?!

I just finished Private Paris which is #10 in the private series. I added to the spreadsheet. Not sure if the levels have to be completed in order so I put it in level 11, since level 10 was already taken. However, level 12 has more books slotted in...I'm leaving it but feel free to move as needed! I will make a library trip soon to pick up some more series books.

I had a great time on the cruise, though the weather the first day in Canada was freezing and rainy, so that day in St. John was a wash. We had a great day in Halifax though and went on a walking history tour and visited the Maritime museum.
