No Sheila, we can read the different legs at the same time and you, a fast reader could read for all legs if you wanted!

Can anyone add on to House of Cards or House of Sand and Fog?

Looking at the team spreadsheet, Sheila, Beth and Ang have read the most books so far. One member can read only one book per leg.

We have to complete heat 1 (3 legs) of the title Relay before starting the next event and then it appears ALL the events are fair game.

I think we should try to get the legs of Heat 1 planned out as best we can and then can figure out how we want to plan our strategy for the rest of the events.

EVERYONE has to participate in this first leg though.

Okay, just added some of my books to the spreadsheet for the next round. I am leaving tomorrow to head to RI. I will have reading time, but am not sure what books to take.

It looks like we can start different legs of Heat 1 & 2 at the same time.

Possible heat:
1. Beth: The Sword of Summer
2. Nancy (me): Summer House
3. ??? House _____

I am hoping to finish my last book tonight or early tomorrow the latest!

Oh my goodness, the Olympic guidelines have been posted! This looks like a doozy of a challenge!

Just finished which will work for A-9 science fiction or C-7 Young Adult......wasn't sure where we were since everyone's been updating what they are reading for the open spaces!

I started tonight which will work for G-6 one word title or A-10 book with rating 4-4.3. It's a chunky one though, so have to try to speed read it to get it done.

I just finished a book and added it to the read thread as well as to Beth's spreadsheet under J-6. I also added my current read which is a YA book to fill in the second slot.

I like the spreadsheet, since we can all add to it as we finish and can see what needs to be completed.

The book that I just finished and posted I thought fit contemporary, but it's a pretty new book and only 3 people tagged it as that. The other tasks that the book fits were already used by ME! I posted in the read thread but noted that it might have to be saved for the next round of tasks. Reading fail!

My current read fits mystery or read by another member.

And I have a couple of YA books that I can read next!

Shoot, and just looked and my previous books already counted for those tasks.....I guess shelve for later?

As for the vote, I'm normally a got-to-complete the list person. However, I am a pretty slow reader in comparison to my teammates, so I'm voting I'm just reading and we can use them wherever they can fit!
