Are we finished with the five events and are now working on bonuses for any round?

I just finished a bonus decoration book for the chariot. The only book that I'm committed to for the challenge is Turn Up the Heat for the title relay, and I will pick up the book Monday from the library. In the meantime, I'm reading two other books but not sure if they'll fit for anything that we have open.....will post if/when read to see where we might be able to use them.

Bonus for #5 Chariot - Decoration (flowers on cover)

Oh man, I'd love to do the Olympic Challenge but this challenge is keeping me super busy!

Ashley, too bad you didn't like The Moon and More. It's on my to read list.

Okay, I just finished my event #3 arm book and updated spread sheet.
I am waiting for Turn Up the Heat for the 15 book chain.
In the meantime, is there anyplace that needs reading?
I am starting When the Morning Glory Blooms, which can be used as a decoration for the chariot (flowers on cover)

Event #3, Round #3 (arm book)

Beth these lists are super helpful! Thanks for making them!

Sounds good to me! I apologize for not being a fast reader or having a lot of time to read! You ladies amaze me!!!

I just finished my chariot event book (12 characters in title). I am currently reading this book:
I believe this shows enough arm to count for the Discus event (#3) as an arm on cover.
I updated the spreadsheet accordingly.

Event: #5 Chariot - Has 12 characters in title

Thanks Ashley! I finally found the rules in one of the posts. There was a link to a site that gives word counts for children's books and this book is way over. It's also tagged as YA as well so I'm pretty sure I'm good.

Does anyone know the ruling on children's books? I was reading In Dark Places for the chariot event but I'm 45 pages in and can't stand it! My daughter found me Drive Me Crazy from her library pile. It has 279 pages so I think it should be okay, but the back says ages 8-12.

So sorry to hear about your flooding Sheila! I had to deal with that several years ago in my finished basement, which is now unfinished. Not fun!
I finished my page jumping book and am starting my chariot book. After I get that one done I should be able to fill in some of the other page jumping or possibly an arm book if needed. I'm just making sure I get the must done ones read first.

I just finished my second book for the title relay (event 1) and updated the spreadsheet. I will be starting my book for the page jumping event.
I have a bunch of books coming in from the library and once I get the books I need to read for the challenge (page jumping and chariot) I will help fill in wherever needed.
