Yes I do wish I could spend more time outside. Especially now that it's dark by the time I leave work.

If it's your dream job than I am very jealous!

I am a lab technologist at a hospital so I'm constant running experiments with lots of random down time in between. Which can be super boring, but thank goodness for audiobooks! Also I've been here almost 5 years, so many things I can do and listen to my book at the same time (I love mulit-tasking my brain) so I'm very lucky.

I just started Villette by Charlotte Brontë because it's a group read for my Classics groups. Hopefully the action picks up soon.....but probably it won't.

35559 Ooh a podcast sounds fun Taryn! Good luck with that it seems like a fun project to start.

I'm at work in the rain as usual. Trying to listen to my audiobook, but its a very slow start. I cannot wait for the weekend!

35559 Ahh okay so it's the same book, but we get extra points for the "preferred" edition? Is it longer or something?

35559 Ooh I have American Gods on audio so I'll join in that BOM. And Uprooted has 4.20 stars so I'll try and check that one out too!

What's the author's preferred edition mean?

35559 I'm also starting Library of Souls today. I know Emma will qualify for "Read a book where a character is always ready to help, takes care of others or is often taken advantage of."

35559 Man I miss-timed my reading. I thought I'd finish my two books right before the challenge started, but I finished them yesterday. I'm listening to music today at work and it's just not the same as an audiobook! haha Luckily I'll be away all day tomorrow, but Sunday I hope to be crushing some reading because I'll be so excited to finally be able to start something!

35559 Oh and would Death of a Gentle Lady (Hamish Macbeth, #23) by M.C. Beaton work for "Read a book with a light or sun on the cover" since there is sunlight in the clouds?

YEP! At first I thought it was a one-time use only thing...but it's not. It's amazing!

For "Read a book where something exists that no one believes in" can I use Library of Souls? There are peculiar children with special abilities that I think the "normals" don't believe.

Also, for "Read a book with something metallic on the cover" would the crown on the cover of The Heir (The Selection, #4) by Kiera Cass work?

35559 For essential oils.....do we need to include "oil" in it? For example, do we need to spell out "citron oil" or just "citron"? Same goes for finding the word in the text and title.

Also must they all be different oils for each task? Or could we use bay oil on a cover AND spell it out?
