I am NOT EVEN KIDDING you guys....something got screwed up with my spreedsheet and it had all the hydras attack at 20, not 15. So I just realized I need less potions than I thought! Yippee

Wish me luck in my battle of the Hydra (I will not give up until all heads are vanguished). Then I'll use my remaining strength to battle the Jabberwocky, Theasausu, The Swarm, and finally The Queens.

Which one of them has someone dangling a reward? - Sweetbitter, The Spy, and Vassa in the Night all work (and all work for B as well).

I would take 3 gold for any of these.

Questions for Mods

For "Read a book that proudly displays its award. (i..e award "sticker" on the cover)". - Does it have to have the sticker on it? Or could it just proudly display its award in a proclamation on the cover?

Also, for battles in general (IE I'm trying to fight gluttony) - can we opt out of using any of our "extras" for the fight.
----For example, can I tell me horse not to help in the battle (for the whole battle) and thus reduce my attack power for the entire battle?

Let me just ask the mods (Tea, Kelly) to make sure that works (I don't know if it requires the actual "sticker" on it or not.)

If so, I have the romance book 12 Days of Dash and Lily ready and that would work for the horse.

I have to save A Breath of Snow and Ashes for my sword.

Also I may be crazy, but is there anyway to take away just 1 HP from a monster? Like when I have WRATH down to 1 HP and need to get exactly 0.

Dragon attacks hero (19 attack) ==> Hero 0 HP

Dragon loses 17 HP + 2 HP from last battle : Hero earns 1 EXP (+9 HP for next time)

Dragon HP for next hero: 9,897 HP

A Court of Thorns and Roses would fit for this. Also Truthwitch (I've been reading a lot of fantasy recently).
