35559 I haven't done a BOM in a while, but these just happened to line up with 2 books I really wanted to read.

35559 When the challenge starts I'll be reading A Court of Wings and Ruin (A Court of Thorns and Roses, #3) by Sarah J. Maas and probably dying haha. I can't even wait for this to come out!!!

I'm also planning to join in the discussion of Strange the Dreamer (Strange the Dreamer, #1) by Laini Taylor (which I incidentally already have from the library) and A Gentleman in Moscow by Amor Towles which has been on my TBR soon list.

Ahh I recently read Heartless and I loved it! It was amazing and also heartbreaking (which I knew it would be)

35559 Hi team! I'm Rebecca from NJ in the USA and I'm excited to start! My shelf will be https://www.goodreads.com/review/list...

Right now I'm reading both Easter Bunny Murder (A Lucy Stone Mystery, #19) by Leslie Meier and Snowblind (Dark Iceland - English Publication Order #1; Original Publication #2) by Ragnar Jónasson . I tend to have both an ebook I'm reading and an audiobook for my commute.

I will be away for the start of the challenge (just for a few days), so my first week will be slow, but I will pick it up after that (and have a 3 hour train ride for un-interupted reading on the way there)!! I have a bunch of friends getting married this year so my weekends will be filled with events and hopefully reading!

35559 For the slingshot and "books that start with Y" can we ignore words like A/The in front?

True, but if you have a door stopper you want to read, you might as well save it for Tower Teams."

I have a big ole book I've been waiting to read so this seems like a great opportunity!

Also I LOVE THAT IDEA! I need some way to stop buying so many darn books (online book sales especially kill me because it's too easy to buy without holding them in your hand or physically paying)

Yeah that's why I love Tower Teams. I can read whatever I want, but its a team challenge so there's motivation to read more (and now be as much of a tv-couch potato).

35559 Yayyyy I'm so excited!! My reading has dropped so dramatically recently and I'm hoping this can help me step it up! And it's been sooooo long since I've done a challenge.

35559 This is super random, but I never realized that the Jabberwocky was an Alice in Wonderland / Lewis Caroll reference. But now I'm reading Heartless by Marissa Meyers (about the queen of hearts) and I'm like OOOHHHH I get it now.

35559 I wish I had started a staff instead, but it's too late for me now so I have to continue on.

35559 I'm also holding off on a sword upgrade because ugh I can't commit to those super large books right now haha.

I'm working on activating the gems and also my puppy int attack instead of the sword.

35559 Or a potion that lets you raise your max HP by a significant amount for one battle or one week or something. I think the max HP is the most inhibitive thing with the unreachable levels.

Also I have no big attacks planned for the dragon so that's amazing!
