I can't believe it's already May tomorrow, either! This year is just flying by. I need to start working in the backyard, as well, but it's been rainy the past few days. The grass is loving it, but not great for yardwork, haha.

Y'all have made me curious about the UNO challenge. I've never participated because I let it intimidate me, haha. It sounds fun, though! And I can't wait for summer 😎

35559 Welcome to the team, Leslie and Andrea!

How was everyone's weekends? I've spent most of it finishing up some reads and getting chores done. The reading was great, the chores not so much 😂

I'm excited to get started tomorrow!

I'm the same way, Kirsten. I hate using the app, the interface is obnoxious! I will use it to look up a book real quick if I'm at a bookstore or something, but that's about it.

Cris - I agree, this year is zooming by! How is it already May? I'm finishing up some books before this challenge starts and I keep thinking I have like a week, but it's actually just three days 😂

Same here, Nanci! And no worries, this thread has a lot going on, haha. I'm loving it! This is going to be a lot of fun 😊

35559 I'm not usually in danger in over-reading for these because I'm a slow reader, lol. But it's good to know there's not a cap this time around!

Now that I'm home from work, I'm gonna take a peek at the planning spreadsheet and see what I can fit in there for now.

35559 Nicole - I can't imagine the amount of work it takes to open a bookshop, but that sounds like sucha dream. I wish all the success! What's the name of your store?

Vi - We tried pumpkin for 0.5 seconds and it did not work out well, heh. I would like to try that again, as well, along with branching into fruit. I'd love to be able to grow our own watermelon! Good luck with the gardening this year 😊

I'm gonna check out our spreadsheet and see if I can do a little planning! I agree that it would be fun to do the full rainbow for the mini challenge. There are definitely some interesting colors in there.

35559 Suzanne - Thanks for checking out the blog. My kids groaned when I told them the name I picked, but I love it 😂

Keli - Thanks for checking out my blog, too! Also, hearing how you met your husband brings me back to some nights in college 😂 I love hearing how people met their SOs!

Elinor - Good luck with your garden! My husband and I have a tiny plot in our backyard that we manage to coax some cucumbers and tomatoes from every year. I'm hoping to expand on it a bit once I have a proper grasp of gardening. We are definitely still beginners, haha.

35559 Hello, team! Sorry to be popping in so late! I just realized today that we had been assigned teams despite being on Goodreads multiple times this weekend 😂

I'm Kerri and I live in Massachusetts. Actually, Apoorv, I live near Boston, so it's nice to have another local on the same team! My family and I moved here in 2019 and I'm loving it so far, even though I'm not a fan of cold weather. I work as a medical laboratory scientist specializing in microbiology and molecular diagnostics, which was super fun when the pandemic first hit. A lot of COVID testing is done in molecular so you can imagine we were very busy, haha. Still, I love my job and can't imagine doing anything else!

As for hobbies (other than the obvious 😉), I like to play D&D, board games, and video games. I also love going on hikes when the weather starts to warm up! I don't have a lot of time for hobbies with the job, our two kiddos, and our three pets, so reading is usually my go-to for relaxing. My only other hobby is my book blog, where I post reviews, book tours, and the like.

I'm looking forward to another fun round of TT and getting to know y'all!

And here's my shelf for this round: https://www.goodreads.com/review/list...

35559 I swear I can't find anything on my TBR bookshelf that is green! There are some hidden in the back, though, so I'll keep looking, haha.

I was so excited it fit so well, haha. I'll keep an eye out for Os and Zs.

35559 Haha, well, my current read works perfectly for Round 3! I'm almost done with Red, White & Royal Blue and it fits both color and tag and definitely has letters for the title.

35559 I'm sorry I didn't get as much reading done as I wanted to this past week! I was busy at work trying to get everything settled before my vacation this week and busy at home prepping for Thanksgiving. Now that I'm off, though, I should be able to get more reading done for Round Two :)

35559 Hi Team Queenie! I'm Kerri and I live near Boston, Massachusetts. I'm excited to participate in another Wheel! It's been a minute since I've done one, so it'll be nice to get back into it this round.

My shelf is Wheels Seven
35559 DQs Day 5: Cottonmouth Remembers Flowers ---> One Year Later

19. What an action-packed ending! What was your favorite part about how this all resolved? What do you think happened to Paul? Do you think Nina and her Grandma will be safe after everything that occurred?

20. I love how this book casually talks about big issues, like climate change. Did you enjoy how that was woven into the story? Do you think the author should have done more to highlight the issue? Do you generally enjoy fantasy books that weave in real world issues?

21. What do you think happened between the Mockingbird and Thou Own Dave? Do you think he truly turned over a new leaf?

22. I really enjoyed the concept of the St0ryte11er app! Does it sound like something you would enjoy or use? What do you think the author's own feelings on social media might be after reading her portrayal of this app?

24. Lastly, the obligatory question... how did you like the book?? What was your favorite and least favorite part? What did you end up rating the book? And would you read from this author again?

35559 Jenny wrote: "The sample size is too small for really good science, but I have noted that no one yet has chosen the Dung Beetle as a preferred animal form. Huh."

Curious, indeed 🤔 Though I have to say, if I was going miniscule, I'd probably go with a praying mantis. Oh! Or maybe a tardigrade. Can you imagine being microscopic??
