35559 To be considered realistic fiction does it have to be tagged as this? I have a book The Medical Examiner by James Patterson that fits the bill of being short. It’s a murder mystery, FBI, police, crime filled book, will this work?

35559 Since the relax/calm book can be a variation of those words what about if we used the word cozy? I have a book that is tagged 90 times.

35559 Just noticed that Donna posted for the maze so I went on to look at the directions for the maze which seem pretty straightforward. I am thinking that we won't know what to read next until the book is posted so we know which direction to go in next. The page looks wonky & is possibly not loading completely? Not sure but right now it has book of crime with some blank spots for the title etc. is this correct? Can books for the maze also be used for the tournament?
Also, what does MPG stand for? I know so many questions-sorry.

35559 Awesome 👏 this will help greatly, especially me because I’m not able to follow as closely as others. I think we’ll have less confusion and duplicates. THANK YOU!!!

My suggestion of a spreadsheet was one that everyone could use. I understand that we have one currently but it would be nice for everyone to be able edit it to sign up for whichever requirement they are currently reading for so that we don't have duplicates it gets confusing trying to keep track of who posted what.

So sorry that I misread the instructions I sincerely apologize. I of course believe what Shannon says because she was one of the creators of the rules. I will delete my post since I will obviously confuse everyone.

35559 I just looked at the list of tasks and it looks not easy but definitely manageable. We have such an eclectic group of readers that I think we’ll be able to not only complete each of the 9 tasks but we’ll also be able to get some extra points by reading the other books.

Should we will still be keeping track of characters?

We’re gonna rock this tournament! Go team Ginny Weasley!!!
