Great, I've got the other pair in the bag as well.

I'm going to put us tentatively on the spreadsheet for these tasks

I'm not positive but I don't think they have to be read in order I think they just need to be related. I love these two series they are so outrageously funny!

If you're up for it I have an idea... if you could read a book from the Violet Circle series by S.M. Shade

Chapters 7 - 8, 26%
10) We find out more about Frank Dunning. He is portrayed as a smooth talker and good looking. Do you find this stereotypical of someone who will go on to murder most of his family? It always seems to be someone no one suspects. Jake's opinion of him obviously isn't very good. Do you think Jake would feel differently if he didn't know what Frank was going to do?
No, not necessarily. I definitely think Jake would feel differently about him because he would have no reason to think any other way. He might be bothered by him being a smooth talker but that is just a personality trait that annoys some people and other people love it.
11) Jake plans how he is going to stop Frank. Would your thought process have been the same as Jake's? How would you plan to change the event?
I would find a way to stop him. I might place an anonymous call to police station for the days leading up to when the murder might occur in hopes that they would take me seriously.
12) There is something off about Derry. The place itself feels weird and the people act strange. Would you stay somewhere where you don't feel welcome? Would you investigate more into what was going on?
No, I'd get out of there.
13) Well, stoppping Frank didn't go to plan but he did get stopped. What do you think the consequences of changing the event will be in the present, if any? Do you think he will go back and try again? If so, what do you think he will do differently?
I don't think Harry will be a janitor, he might be something else at the school though. I definitely think he will go back and try again he wants to save the whole family. I think he'll plan it out more carefully and maybe approach them and befriend them in the days leading up to the incident. He wants to have a reason to be there.

Chapter 4 - 6 or 18%
#5. How did you feel when you read Harry Dunning's essay? What would you have done if you had the power to enact change in the past?
It broke my heart, what a sad story. I WOULD change the past but only in certain circumstances. I think some things are just meant to be whether they be for the greater good or not.
#6. Money is a big deal in any timeline. Would you be able to acclimate to the past in terms of financial transactions as well as Jake? Do you think Jake acclimated TOO quickly?
I don't think it was that big of a deal. It would be kind of like going to a different country and getting used to the currency/prices.
#7. Fashion is also an issue in the past. Do you think Jake is having an easier time of it because he is a man? What would be the most challenging fashion change for you to get used to? Is there something you would love to be able to wear?
Guys always have it easy when it comes to fashion. Shirt, pants and you have an outfit. Not sure but probably the underwear and panty hose. I think I'd like some of the dresses and shoes.
#8. There are a lot of interesting nods to older Advertising terms and slogans that King uses to help the reader recognize the timeline change of the past. Which one stood out to you the most and why?
The cigarette ads and the WJAB jingle. I pictured three women standing in a radio studio in front of a stand-up microphone with dresses, heels, and little hats singing that jingle. The references to Moxie as well.
#9. If you have read any past King novels, some of these chapters have a lot of connections to early books about Derry, Maine, and surrounding locations. Did you find any Easter eggs from previous stories? If you haven't read earlier King novels, what about Derry seemed to stand out as unique to you?
It's been so long since I read a King book that I really don't remember other than the references to Maine and Derry in particular.

1) I have only read a few of Stephen King's books. Is this your first book by the author or are you quite familiar with his storytelling?
I read this one when it first came out but that was many, many MANY books before. I remember bits and pieces of it as I'm reading it but it's still pretty vague. I've read a few of his books.
2) What do you think about the character Jake so far? Would you have gone along with what Al wanted and took the initial step back into the past, or would you have not humoured him and tried to get him help?
Jake seems like a good guy. I probably would have gone along with what Al wanted because I would love to time travel but only to the past not the future.
3) I am not sure how I would feel if I just stepped back into the past the way Jake and Al have, but I am really curious about how the time traveling works in this story. It seemed that Jake was somewhat calm about it. How do you think you would feel if it was you?
I would be nervous, anxious yet excited to be able to experience something that I've only read about.
4) I think it is clear that Jake is going to pick up Al's mission to try and stop the JFK assassination. Would you choose to continue Al's mission? Also how much do you know of the history surrounding this event?
I think it would be interesting to be in the mix and try to stop a major event from happening. The only problem with it is would it change my being able to get back to my time? I would have to think long and hard about it before I made a decision. My knowledge of this event it very light. I know the essentials but not the details.

I read this book earlier this month and it works for New Adult. It's an easy 250 page book. I thought it was funny. I don't know if anyone else might like to read it for the mini

sure, I'd say that's a bed"
Thanks! I'll grab that task

I just looked Jeih has the task but they used an author with initials NT. I think Dez may have realized the mistake because their task is now blank. I only looked at Ashara, Damara, Deset, Dez and Jeih when I was looking for ideas the other day.
Do we need to have all 3 initials or just two?
