We have the "neither" for mounds or almond joy in common! I knew I liked you lol
-Sparkling water or flat? Depends on my mood-Flavored water or plain? Also, depends on my mood and the brand. I'm kind of a water snob...
-Bunny slippers or socks around the house when it is cold? Sometimes both at the same time but usually socks
-Mounds or Almond Joy? Neither-I like Reese's, M&M's, Snickers, Twix and many others
-Do you buy Halloween candy that you like in case there are leftovers? Or, do you buy stuff that will not tempt you? What I like and hope for many leftovers
-Horror movies or RomComs? RomComs out of these two genres, but I also like thrillers and a good kids movie
Those sound like wonderful weekend plans! That is so cool that Barry Bostwick is hosting RHPS. I wonder if he'll give any behind the scenes secrets away. I hope you have a blast!Do you use Libby? If so, Broward County library will let you get a free e-card. I don't know if they have your book you're looking for or not but it's worth a try plus it would give you another library to get books from. I discovered it when someone told me about it in another group I'm in. If you'd like I can check for the book before you go through all of the trouble of signing up for a card and finding out they don't have it. Which book is it?
Just checking in, how was everyone's first week? I hope everyone had a great week! I had a fantastic reading week due to being able to get audio and print/ebook versions of most of the books I read. The audiobooks really help with my commute since sometimes it takes over an hour each way. I also listen while doing chores which makes them a little better to do. I never used to be an audiobook listener and I still can't do it if it's a narrator that I don't care for their voice. My mind will just wander...
Hi Carrie, I hope your Dad has a quick recovery! You’re a great daughter for taking care of him. Don’t stress about reading just take care of him and yourself. Sending hugs and healing vibes your way
Jenny the description of that book looks particularly painful. I don’t know how you got through it. I did notice you gave it one star, was it even worth that? 🤣😂
Sure, my computer is updating so it’ll be just a few minutes before I can get to it. I’ll update after I finish checking it

We can read as many yellow books as we want right?
Thanks in advance. Just double checking becau..
I'll back off on the yellow books, I had a bunch stockpiled lol Might need them later

That sounds really good. I hope to start it this next weekend. Today was my Monday so that's going to give me something to look forward to. I hope you keep enjoying it.
Couple of questions...We only get to read for the bonus words 10 times correct?
We can read as many yellow books as we want right?
Thanks in advance. Just double checking because it's been awhile since I played Wheel

How's The Running Game going? Another door stopper in the series! I just got the print copy from my library. I don't care for the narrator for this series.
That’s great! I’m glad you’re enjoying them.My physical book is great, very comfy, cozy just what I needed and my audiobook is turning out better than I anticipated. I had looked at the reviews and people said it was not as good as her first book. I’ve never read anything by this author before so I have nothing to compare it to.

Je suis desole tu as mal a la tete. J'espere que tu te sens mieux et que ton cours de Francais se termine bientot!
No "Holiday in Cambodia" (Dead Kennedys) for me today "I Wanna Be Sedated" (Ramones) because I feel like a "Psycho Killer" (Talking Heads). I finished my book and now I'm in a "Waiting Room" (Fugazi) until the challenge starts. I think I'll "Search and Destroy" (The Stooges), well maybe not destroy but definitely search for books that will "Welcome (me) to Paradise" (Green Day) for the tasks. I'm so "Unsatisified" (The Replacements) and feel like a "Time Bomb" (Rancid) because I can't start a new book until the challenge begins (and I finish work) at which time I'll be in "Complete Control" (The Clash) in my "Suburban Home" (Descendents) with a "Lust for Life" (Iggy Pop) reading my new book!BTW I'm (in my imagination) jumping around screaming this out with my purple and green spiked 6 inch hair, my ripped up white and black plaid shirt with a studded bustier top, pink leather pants, caution tape belt draped across my front with combat boots! My makeup is loads of dark eyeliner, mascara and deep purple lipstick. Piercings galore and a heavy chain necklace. I am more than ready for this challenge!!!
How's everyone else doing on their prep?
