35559 The book is awesome :) I haven't watched the movie though.
35559 Works for me, Karen.
35559 I just downloaded it. There are 27 chapters excluding Prologue. How do you want to breakdown? (I'm doing e so I can't tell page numbers)

35559 I finished up Voyager (Outlander, #3) by Diana Gabaldon yesterday. It was very tightly paced and I couldn't put it down at all. I'm definitely picking up the next book in the series (and the page numbers seems to increase at will)

Up next to start are Barrayar (Vorkosigan Saga, #7) by Lois McMaster Bujold & The Gods of Gotham by Lyndsay Faye both of which are Buddy Reads. I might have over-committed on the BR...
35559 Are we all ready to start today? (Or tomorrow for those in US)

35559 Congrats, Amy J on solving that monster of a jigsaw.

You have to upload the screenshot to either tinypic.com or photobucket.com. Once you upload, it'll give you a HTML sharing link which you just paste in the thread.
35559 Welcome, Jena & Allison!!

That looks really interesting, Sarah. Added to my TBR!

35559 I don't think we really discussed this when we buddy-read this (atleast I'm pretty sure we all did) but she (view spoiler) I'm not sure why it's hitting me this time and not the first. Maybe I was too engrossed in Max & Louise's story..?!

35559 So a little update on my reading:

I still haven't finished reading Lion of Ireland by Morgan Llywelyn - I've been concentrating on shorter books during the read-off and totally neglected this. Worst reading buddy ever.

Also buddy-reading Voyager (Outlander, #3) by Diana Gabaldon - This book is fast paced compared to the previous and I'm totally loving it.

Also finished re-reading yesterday Silver Lining by Maggie Osborne - an impromptu read in my library. Still love this book but I think Philadelphia needed more retribution.

35559 I'm actually amazed you read a book. I didn't have time to sleep during the week of my wedding (our wedding is a two day affair and we have other post-wedding happenings too). And totally amazed you didn't take a family photo.

I'm glad you loved After the Night by Linda Howard . You should try Shades Of Twilight by Linda Howard next.

35559 Really beautiful, Leslie!! And I think 2 photos is a little low for a wedding ;)

35559 Leslie, that's a beautiful picture. Congrats to the couple! And what Rebecca said. You should enjoy this time with your family! :)

@Diane: Yay! Congrats on kicking your reading slump!!

35559 This is interesting. I'm from India and as far as I remember, my parents, brother and I used to sleep together always. When our grandmother (grandfather passed away when I was still a baby) was visiting, we used to sleep with her. She used to tell us the best bed time stories.

Even now if I'm visiting alone (w/o hubby), I either sleep with my grandmother or my mother. We gossip till we fall asleep.
