I just finished Splendor and the last 15% made me cringe. I mean, the whole premise from the beginning was not realistic but at least the writing was ok but the last 15% just outdid that too.
Looking for a bleach book next.
For the cap, it's working out nicely. Not sure if I'll be able to hit it, but I will be able to get in another 3-4 books at least I think.

I've read upto end of Day 5. Just sad that I started it just before TT.
I agree with all of you said Karen. I really like Szeth's backstory - and I agree about Kaladin.
Adolin - I feel happy that Adolin's getting the limelight without Dalinar or Shallan or Kaladin to share. He's such a likeable character and from his POV, Dalinar is shown in another light. Interesting
Sanderson said he wanted people to be uncomfortable while reading this book and I think he succeeded. (view spoiler)
Dalinar: (view spoiler)

Read a book with an unearthly mode of transportation on the cover (i.e., spaceships allowed)
Read a book tagged "Diary" at least 10x
Read a book where characters..."
The book I finished Rendezvous had 2/3 road/carriage trips from London to Dorset. Will that work? Not sure if it is assigned already..

I like Zapata and Henry.. Most of their books have worked for me

Alright then. I will wait till I'm a little further like 60% and then I'll know exactly.
Noted on the task. Mel has it listed twice and that's why I wanted to clarify.

the title (Plurals are acceptable) appears twice.. do the tasks repeat?

Please, let's wait till we double-check & confirm the new mini on the officisl sheet, in case there may be differences."
Oh yeah, I'll keep that in mind.
Sophie, Hope you had a lovely day!

The new mini-task: Read a book with a character who desires world domination

I started baking sourdough bread during the pandemic - I bake on and off and now I'm in my 'on' period. Planning for some focaccia and ciabatta this weekend along with some cookie monster (aka blue bread with choc chips) bread.

Why do weekends always seem to fly by? 1 day of shuttling kids to football/birthday parties/playdates and another day of forest walk and it's already Monday.
I have not planned my reads at all. But I will get to it the next few days at home.
