We don't have outside spaces... only option would be the kitchen...

Wait lego plants? Like plants made of lego? That could work LOL

35559 My mom was the green thumb of the family. I remember when we first got this place, her plants were the first thing to be moved into.

I used to come here to study for my exams, lots of quiet. So. She made me talk to them, so they wouldn't feel abandoned.

Me? I am known for letting succulent and cactus die. Seriously. I had a cactus that I killed. Mom told me I gave it too much water. Now with cats.. yeah, plants are not something we have anymore. I do miss have some green around. But have yet to find something that lasts enough.

35559 Btw, the dark green (that seems black) and gold books that we can see second row from the bottom are by Victor Hugo. They split Les Miserables into 5 volumes, and the other two are The Man Who Laughs (split into 2)

35559 Found it! It has some "intruders" but I had nowhere else to put them.

35559 I still have books from my mom, some of them not in great shape around. They were never read. Probably never will. Do I get rid of them? What do you think. They don't even have that much sentiment value since my mom wasn't a reader. How come I have so many books around, even before her and my stepdad got together, I will never know. After that, it made sense, since they both worked at "Circulo de Leitores" (English translation Reader's Circle). It was a door to door bookseller service with a pretty magazine. Specialized first in great portuguese authors, but it branched out eventually. Their editions were gorgeous... all glossy hardcovers - no sleeves - and some of them engraved.

I think I have a pretty picture of those from the last time I got them all sorted out. I'll try to find it..

You know that my pictures - apart from baby/toddler years - are a LOT less than yours, right?

I have a couple of those for photos. No clue what's in there.

35559 My sister had her first communion when I was at my last high school year... soooo, I was almost 18, meaning she was almost 9, I think.

Anyway, I told my mom to give my bangs a snip, because it kept going into my eyes... and because she was really obstinate, and had curls jelly (because I have natural ones) and got stuck to the 80s style, she gave me a mullet. A MULLET. On my sister's communion. Which was a big event, with more than 20 kids. And I was both in the choir at the time (no idea why, since I'm tone deaf) and also on the collect basket during mass.

Not only that, but I still had 2 months left on school. My college application photos had me in a freaking mullet!!!!! I already had enough Tina Turner hair a few 5 years earlier... but noooooooo this time it was worse. WAY WORSE.

Did I mention I was at the nice teasing age of 17?????

Good thing I'm not playing then. *grins*

Speaking of book games...my own sister just ditched my lovely paperback all black hunger games trilogy editions in favor of the digital one... Meh... How could she do that to my pretties?

35559 Mel & Sophie, I'm not ignoring you, but I think it would be polite to at least give the actual team members to have the chance to say hi before I'd barge in there. Already almost caused a fight between Sammy and E at district 6, so yeah... I need to be careful.
