35559 Hi Domi!
Welcome to the fun
Mar 15, 2024 09:58AM

35559 I'm currently reading one of the Heart2heart anthologies... Keep waiting for one of the dates to be on a rollercoaster, no luck so far. But I'm reading the paranormal one, maybe the contemporary will do the trick.

I shall see

35559 Some books have vampires being born, not turned. Those are alive too. The only shifter that I could probably go with the undead is one I stumbled on...he thought he was human. Was attacked. Died in the hospital. And it's phoenix shifter gene kicked on and return him back to life. However, I think it's more a revived character than an undead one since he's pretty much alive

My witch book is annoying me, I have a ton of paranormal books in my arsenal, it's not hard to find another.

35559 Okay, so, the book I managed to finish on sunday for the final round of the spelling team challenge was 270 pages, so I filled in that spot.

Next I'll see what book I can fit on the amusement park one. Or maybe the witches one. One of them shall be read in the next few days. I'm still a bit wonky from all the stress/pressure.

So I might choose to play a few games to decompress instead.

35559 Hey you all.

I'm still alive.

Although the week I was supposed to take off, was turned into 3 days off instead.

And I'm still working today to balance it.

And I'll be off the record doing stuff tomorrow.

What irks me is that it isn't even my project. But, I was glad I could help. Poor QA engineer is still a junior... this project from hell is so twisted, that it would make a nun turn to drink. Anywoo. After it, the kid will turn into a hell of a QA. But. He needed the help. And the ton of pep talks I gave it.

LOL

Tomorrow I shall discover what is this thing called book and reading. You all speak of such unknown things.

35559 Oh I can take on it. If not with Percy, I can re-read InCryptid #7 that is set in an amusement park. Unless someone is reading the incryptid series and didn't know about it.

I need to get back to that universe, and the I's are UNO's friends. Maybe one of my favs will be the trick?

35559 *giggles*
Yeah, I thought as much once I post it.

You never know what letting books to chance might bring you. But sure. I can't promise to do both though, because after months of steamy books it feels some how wrong, to read middle grade ones

*giggles again*

35559 Too bad Percy Jackson is only 11/12 y.o. because the TV show is making me want to re-read them, and they go to an amusement park to retrieve Ares's shield on the first book.

If nobody has tackled it by monday, I'll reassess then. Till there, I'm in a mm books only read, sorry :(

35559 Cool. I can knock out the SHELOB initials then :D
Mar 04, 2024 10:46AM

35559 I haz a question. If the book is a author collaboration, do we need to use both authors' initials, or just the main one?

Because when you look at the series page, only one author appears.

35559 So, I think I'm giving up on Fish Out of Water. It's... not what I want to read now.

And I remembered that my edition of Trust is the first one. And I used to hate the cover. Hence why I switch for every challenge. But the one I have is this one:

Trust (Temptation, #3) by Ella Frank . So I'm using that one for the white cover task.

[Edit] The page count it's my usual range, so, it's easy to get :D Sophie's book was in the range, I replaced mine for hers.

35559 I also managed to finish a book that it wasn't a re-read. Wooohooo.

Of course I remember... Someone had to keep teams motivated.

35559 Eni loved the puzzles.

I basically ignored the cupcakes. But then again. My team kept being torn to pieces to form another ones, at least till the banana one being so behind that I finally got a team with enough members. LOL.
