Our dear mentor must be so proud of you right now!!!
*virtually hugs LK wherever she is living her current adventure*

Heck, I used defenestration on my English B1 level class... teacher was quite impressed. But hey, I still feel ashamed every time people ask me what the class level was, because everyone and their mother know I'm a C1 *pouts*

Now, I have a question... who here has played ALL of the previous 9 tower teams editions?"
You or Karen would have been my guesses. Not sure many people are still around from ..."
Karen didn't played towers 1. Steven was on my A-Team, but I think he skipped Discworld towers... although I might be wrong.
[EDIT] I was wrong, he was on my team.... ooooohhhh the shame...
Not my fault... You stole him from me last edition and my heart never recovered!

Here they are, all pretty (Best Teams of every edition, I swear! Specially Team Lust)
The A-Team
Cadet Blue
Scions of the Dark
Poseidon
BB-8
Hermione Granger
Lust
Rincewind
Hector

I'm totally on board with the reading only classics one. I know that makes me weird, lol"
*taking notes*"
Yeah... I was internally cringing whilst at the same time laughing like a maniac and thinking you are so lucky I'm just a regular player...
And then I remember who the powers that be currently are, and promptly fell to the floor laughing hysterically because feeding the chipmunks is even more dangerous now

Awwww.
So that's why they came for a visit today!!! Call them back. I need to focus on stuff and they don't shut up with ideas.

And throwing food to the chipmunks once in a while without the headache that came with overactive imagination :o)

Now imagine making teams for most of them. All names start to blur after a while. Yours stands out a little... but even so... with an average of 200 participants a challenge (Some tower teams had over 300) it's near impossible to keep track unless you cheat and check spreadsheets.

Yes. Tower Teams VI. It had Spells, Classes, a Tri-wizard trophy and quidditch.
I thought you played it, but memory is not longer what it used to be.

LOTR ideas pop out every now and then, generate a boost of ideas/enthusiastic thoughts and then get back to the simmering point...
There are not forgotten... just not put in action...

And that it has a trophy were you need to do stuff from each of the houses to achieve it?
You letting it sit there in sequence of Frida's comment..
Oh, and that LOTR doesn't have houses but it has races... and that .. I don't know.. may be nice to have some strategic/team collaboration in place...
*whistles*

(If you see 6 “people” reading the exact same books then you know…. Just ignore it….)"
Oh
My
God
I am so glad I am jus a lowly player now, because that will certainly cause a "So, I've been thinking..." moment. Or several.

NO. It is NOT the Lord of the Rings."
Lol!
And in my head we already did LOTR. I’m clearly losing my..."
Maybe because everybody started demanding one as soon as the Harry Potter one ended?

Need a hug?

5. What did you think about all the escape plan/journey? The fires, the sailing, all the different plane rides, a road trip and finally a car ditch. Overkill? Or not enough?
6. After talking about the museum structure they decide to call Sweeney. Do you think they can trust him? After all, he says they were supposed to be dead. And asking him to come to their hiding city/place.. is that wise?
7. What can possibly be the reason for termination? After all, Sweeney got retired. And he was partnered with one of the museum big honchos. If it was about knowing too much, he would be a target too, right?
8. What did you think about Constance strategy back in the past? Having Billy to get angry enough that she let herself find her talent... And how on earth could she possibly have guessed it was hand to hand combat?
