35559 Well, in my whole math course I only used # for my IT classes... So, I, personally say no.

35559 Yeah, she's right. Those are the hardest ones. Otherwise I would totally be reading

A Fórmula de Deus (Tomás Noronha, #2) by José Rodrigues dos Santos

for math symbols on the cover.

I might still read it, but not for chipmunks.

Need some help?

Anything like beautiful/walking disaster will work. I was in a NA kick when those came out, so I had a nostalgia feeling the other day watching the trailer.

35559 Btw, out of my head I can think of

The Square Root of Summer by Harriet Reuter Hapgood Imaginary Numbers (InCryptid, #9) by Seanan McGuire Calculated Risks (InCryptid, #10) by Seanan McGuire

for that task.

I am not claiming it yet, because I already have two on my list. Just posting the books there in case someone has them on their TBR, and can't remember :o)

35559 So, I started How I Stole the Princess's White Knight and Turned Him to Villainy: The Complete Works (552 pages) and I'm glad it didn't won the backroom poll. 1)I get to read it earlier and 2)It's ultimately silly, but fun at the same time, and reading it with other people would for certain ruin its appeal, since it's not for general taste

LOL

You need an excuse?!

I started Villainy. Either I finish it for this round. Or for next one. It all depends on if we end up needing it or not.

Considering how much you and Sammy have been reading, I was expecting as much.

Nobody wants you to get burn out at the end of the first month.

35559 Good Morning team!!!

We only need another 500-599 page book and our monthly tower is done!!!! Wooohoo, our team rocks!

Anyone reading one?

The Tomas Noronha may take me a little bit to finish, but, I'm pretty sure Villainy is a quicker read. So. I'll start that one during lunch hour unless someone beats me to the punch!

Sure thing

And yes, all books read from June 1st.

Maybe some Discworld re-read for comfort?

Yeah, the cover if gorgeous. with the hourglass and the old books... It makes me so sad that the library put the auto adhesive plastic covering... even if I understand the need to protect it... It is also the first book I get from there that has it. I suspect is not their first edition of this book.

I started Codex 632 (Tomás Noronha, #1) by José Rodrigues dos Santos . The author is called the Portuguese Dan Brown. The series is quite popular. This one is about Christopher Columbus. Someone gave me book #2, that is a perfect book for a math major, in theory, since gossip said he was trying to prove the existence of God by scientific formulas. Not sure if gossip is right or not, since I refused to read it without having read Codex first. So. Maybe this is the challenge I find out what all the fuss is about.

35559 I finished two more books from the Cold Case Psychic series - plan was to finish just #2 BUT it ended in a way that I could not wait until the morning. So. I ended up staying till past midnight. How I reserved the last half an hour for today, I'll never know. Maybe because Ten annoyed the crap out of me in this book. And Ronan was totally whipped. I might take a bit of a break because it was annoying. It ended on a sweet note. But it was annoying. Have I said it annoyed me? LOL

Next I'm going to tackle a 500+ book. Not sure of which one.. yet.

35559 Eni went to the library today and I asked her to bring me O Codex 632 It's 550 pages, so, YEY.

I might save it for next month and read How I Stole the Princess's White Knight and Turned Him to Villainy: The Complete Works (552 pages) instead.

Oooorrrr, I can always start both, since they are different MPGs and formats, and see if I need to finish one or two, or finish them in June.

LOL
