my thread is quill-shimmer... I have picked a few challenges after looking other threads...will definitely look into the Easter bilby

I have a kind of multiple scavenger hunt idea for a quest...

So we have 50 tasks (which we make up to fitting to whatever story we come up with)

An example of tasks (not ones we use but just to explain)

1) book with red cover
2) book with blue cover
3) book with black cover
4) book with white cover
5) author intitials found in kingdom
6) Book with Water on cover
7) book 100-200 in pages
8) book 200- 300 pages
9) book with animal on cover
10) book with white font on cover

So say i read
- Unwilling Bride
This fits
7) book 100-200 in pages = Its 139 pages
10) book with white font on cover = White font on cover
6) Book with Water on cover = Water behind character

So Using this book would get me 3 points

So say a person Finds all 50 Tasks in 10 books they get Big prize
15 books medium prize
20 books small prize

from what i read in other team threads it looks like A finished book can gain points for the page count of the book and then additional points for using in one of the games...

from what i Gather we have to read tasks for the different parts of discworld .... in order or not im not sure.....

R - Rincewind 40 points

IR - Industrial Revolution 30 points

TA - Tiffany Aching 25 points
O - Others 15 points

The Next priority if books dont fit the tasks is aiming to complete the bingo.... any remaining books to go Jackonary.... (still no clue to what that is)

I been trying to read about and that's what i gathered so far... but again its my first time playing.... and still don't fully understand it, but reading that gave me the flavor for things....

there are other ways it seems to earn points too, with BOTM, Writing set questions, participating in discussions..... not sure how all this part works

I'm Laura ( will post shelf tommorow) was recommended this challenge during uno, I'm not sure I understand everything yet, the writing challenge has me stumped a bit.... I'm a bit of a paranormal/ fantasy romance junkie.... But I do love contemporary bully dark romance too....

So I'm 33 have 2 sons aged 4 and 6 homeschooling at the moment.... I'm orgianally from the isle of wight, a channel island off the South coast of england.... But I met my Greek husband when I went to Greek islands to visit mum when I was 19 so we live there now.

I'm waiting for our season to start up here I work as bookings manager and reception in a hotel and spa part time, mainly for arrivals and departures, also work part time at jewellers.... My family also has a Greek taverns so if any of them need some time off I cover....

Really looking forward to starting this.... Never read discworld before but have mort and Mays botm to read!!!!

thanks guys, i really cant jump series... lol unless they are standalones..... Im looking at the books available on scribd and such.... I remember reading a Terry Pratchett book when i was a kid it had a yellow golden cover and lots of little people in it.... Will be interesting to delve in as a grown up

Do I need to read discworld books in order? Would I still understand the world and characters if I picked random reads or does it build on itself?.....
