35559 It looks like Historical is not that popular... As I love the genre, I'll read one for that task :)

35559 For the audiobooks, does it have to be the audiobook? Or could I read a printed version?

35559 I have books for most of these tasks, so I'll wait a bit for the pickier readers to make their choices, and then I'll see what's left.

(I'm not so sure about the narrator task and the alliteration task). I should be good to go for any of the others

35559 How are going to split them? Should the slower (saner) readers get first dibs?

35559 (I'm not the best with timezones - are they really necessary? LOL)

I think some other teams are having trouble with their spreadsheets as well, so it's not just us.

35559 Just one hour from now, then?

Where should we look?

35559 I guess we could go with Beth's second approach then.

(Yes, I'm anxious LOL)

35559 I'd say to start with a square in the middle (D3, G3, D6 and G6 for instance) and then spread out, alway skipping one square, so that a checkered pattern is made

35559 I think that our guesses should be made in a way to cover as much of the grid as we can. Alternating squares and lines should help

35559 See? You have plenty of options there :)

(I used to do non-reading challenges, and Listopia was a huge help!)

35559 For those that enjoy scientific non-fiction, I'd recommend the following:

The Emperor of All Maladies A Biography of Cancer by Siddhartha Mukherjee The Ghost Map The Story of London's Most Terrifying Epidemic - and How It Changed Science, Cities, and the Modern World by Steven Johnson The Demon Under the Microscope From Battlefield Hospitals to Nazi Labs, One Doctor's Heroic Search for the World's First Miracle Drug by Thomas Hager

Bonus recommendation (this is between science and economics); Windfall The Booming Business of Global Warming by McKenzie Funk
