idk what types of books you usually like to read but i've got a huge lgbt shelf so if there's something you see on there that you want more info on i can try to help you pick somethingi'm so glad we got cinnamon though since i'm mostly reading lgbt books this month for pride anyway though. although ugh, all those N's! gonna have to do some planning later
not sure if everyone finished this one or not? did we all get distracted with wheel and other stuff? anyway i figure we are supposed to get our new wheelathon words tomorrow so we can see what letters we need. or take a break if people are getting busy? i'm good for whatever.
well i have done pretty much nothing productive for this challenge today -_-; listened to a bunch of podcasts and had to DNF the book i was trying to read so now i can't use it for this, but at least it was only at 26% i guess. hopefully i will get more on track again tomorrow. unfortunately good omens has made me realize i need more david tennant in my life again but all the doctor who audiobooks are too short to count so i'm trying to resist ;)
haha yeah i do read a fair amount of kindle freebies in various genres ...or more recently it seems i read a lot of first chapters of kindle freebies before deleting them. there are some good ones but there's a lot of bad ones as well. although really i guess that when it comes to erotica i would generally rather just read fanfiction, or if i do read an erotica book from kindle it is usually very short and therefore not usable for challenges.
i never joined the backroom because it always seemed to me that the kinds of adult books people would mention here in the regular group during challenges were definitely not ones i would like and assumed the backroom would be like that, or they were books that like everyone seemed to agree were awful but they all read them anyway? which ...i get that i guess but also i just don't have the time for it personally lol i do agree that there are definitely more 'high brow' adult books that could be read, although at this point i thought the 'point' of the backroom was to read like ...bad kindle freebies and stuff, but from your comment i guess it wasn't always like that?
i have been mostly liking my books. roadkill was a reread and part of my favorite series ever so i knew i was going to like that one lol. the girl who could move sh*t with her mind was an ARC that i ended up really enjoying. a fun thriller book with a hint of scifi. aurora rising i unfortunately did not like that much. i had read stuff by jay kristoff before but this one was a lot more what i call 'standard ya' and unfortunately the only two characters i really liked out of the main seven were very sidelined. i also finally read exquisite corpse which i really ended up liking despite the fact that it is 500% edgy 90s crap for goth teenagers. oh well, what can i do lol
haha i just joined the backroom to see what the BoM was and unfortunately i know myself well enough to know that there is no way i can get through that, even if it is short. good luck to all of you though ;)

awesome! i'm currently listening to an adventure book [aurora rising, already on the sheet] and then am gonna listen to hogfather after that's two more adventure books coming up.
i'm going to a live show of my brother, my brother, and me tonight. it's a comedy podcast, idk if any of you have heard of it but it's pretty great. it's also pouring down rain here for the second day running so not hot but ...yay driving in the rain loli think i'm gonna try to do a few shorter books next that work for E since i haven't seen many E's on the completion thread and we need twice as many of them.
i also finished yesterday lolwhat i love about the water bottle thing is like ...he says that he uses it IF she's attacking people so that means that she's already been attacking people and he's trying to get her to stop, not that she just doesn't do it at all. i can't even imagine how much robin's neighbors must hate him lol
and yeah the whole delilah thing (view spoiler)

i was actually pretty unsure about it before it came out but i ended up absolutely loving it. i still think sheen was a bit of a weird choice to play aziraphale but he actually did really well, and of course tennant was amazing as always.
also i'm hoping to finish two books later today. i got a bit distracted last night watching good omens lol. although now i have the problem of not letting myself get distracted by fanfic. must read real books for challenge! ;)
yes i love that he does that, much better than having it awkwardly in the text or just not recapping at all
i love brom but yeah i think that's all kind of a theme for him lol. i can't remember how much children are in krampus or how much bad stuff happens to them specifically but they're definitely around since it's a christmas / santa claus type thing. i'm actually hoping to read lost gods this coming week as part of this chalenge
yeah i'm gonna have to start over if i ever want to finish the song of ice and fire series, but i decided i'm not finishing them until he does so i figure i've got about 50 years til that happens ;)
@Karen and Laurie i find that i am very hit or miss with popular books, especially YA books, which it seems like most popular books are these days
i just love how every time delilah shows up she basically tells cal he's not that great at sex but then also wants to sleep with him. i'm like BUT WHAT IS THE TRUTH DELILAH and robin and ish are just so great together. i watched the first three episodes of the good omens miniseries last night and my robin/ish and crowley/aziraphale feels are definitely getting all mixed up
