Amanda on our book tracking page is there anyway i can get rid of my books that have a ✅️ next ( other than deleting then all 1 box at a time ) to them as they all been added and thought it would make it easier to see what is added/ not

I think we just need to slow down and enjoy it a bit more , if we only read 40 boks , we only read 40 books .

I found it easier adding a few books every now and then rather than being faced with loads ( a bit overwhelmed ).

If you do not do links then you need to make sure the book title on main books read is exactly the same spelling/ capitals as that on kitchen meals created ( i dont always use capitals and that was what was causing problems )

Ill add some basic meal plans later and see if it makes it easier

I like the idea of this challenge very much and although we were told it was not for someone who used google sheets , me, in my wisdom thought i would be ok and tbh i can do most of it ( except linking books ) the problem is the time it is taking
Ive got one SS open on one phone on my lap while i transfer it onto another sheet so i dont have to keep swapping pages but as i have to zoom in a lot , it gets confusing which line im on .
If other are ok adding their own books and putting their items in to meals that i set up in advance then im fine carrying on , but will see what other say .
I also and not reading as many books as normal as a lot of other challenge are giving more points for 300+ pgs so reading mote of them than normal 😀

I think we can use the word veg but it will only count as.the 1.item

Ive had to ask mod to sort out SS out again as worked for a while but then not ..wondering if its me 😄

Team..i have just spent 2 hours putting my books on main SS and trying to make meals, its very time consuming as i have to make sure i mark which item i have used ( so dont do again) so there is 🔸️ & ✅️ everywhere

i really dont think we are going to get to the stage where we are moving items around to make more interseting meals etc , so once they are finished a meal thats it i think ...Soooo

We all put our own books on the main Books read SS , quite easy , dont need links but my titles needed underlining 🤷‍♀️

Then I will go on the Kitchen meals created page and just allocate so many meals and we can then add our items that fit
If you look at SS now you can see that we need a few items to complete a / curry/ salad/fish chips .

What do you all think , i think claudia & caipi not too sure on SS so we can work together to cover you

I know it doesnt help that im on my phone but i didnt realise how much work it would be

Sorry to be a nuisance but whatever magic you weaved worked for the next item i added and then went wrong again after that 🤔🤔

Its also saying i have items still to use from my books when i dont, although they not showing up as bold so may be waiting to be refressed

Amanda as far as im aware pg #/ chapter/ location are all good for where item is

I finish work today for 12 days holiday and going up to cottage tonight so should have plenty of spare time .

If we can all add our books with good items onto SS onto the main Books read pg .( my current book has hardley anything so far except sausage / coffee
I will take a look and see what meals we can make start..my only problem is i dont really know how many of each we are going to need ..is 20 x coffee enough 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️😄😄

Ill see what i can do and then perhaps kirsten can write the descript down ..she made a good job of our shop description 😁

Dont bother logging drinks or desserts for anything under 500 pgs ..although we do need water for making tea ..so id be tempted to use the books under 160 pgs for coffee/ tea/ water ( for tea )

Ive asked the mod to take a look at our SS to sort out problem

Originally i was thhinking to give 3nweeks before we sorted meals but i thi k we going to get too overwhelmed doing it that way .
Im seeing that the food/ drinks we need are popping up loads in our books so dont see that we need to hold back in posting on main SS .

.is anyone confident adding meals to the SS?

If not can we all add our good books to the official book list as that would save a lot of time and i can sort meals out

Ive tried adding some books the main SS
ON THE Books Read tab even though i havent linked the book ( cant do on phone ) if i add it and underline the title it works out how many words used and how many left .
If i dont underline then it doesnt work it out 🤔🤔🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

On the Kitchen meals created ive used my 500+ book purely for drinks and desserts as they only need 1 item.
Also started to do a F& C +V
The one green column ( meal cat that can be used ) is not changing and i dont know why so if someone can have a look please

Amanda , we can only claim desserts/ drinks/cocktails in books over 500 pgs so some of those wont work unfortunatley
