35559 I just posted in ask the volcanologist about the deadline for safezone challenges.

35559 What is the deadline for the safezone challenges for round 4? I know the countdown was pushed to 10/3, but wasn't sure if the safezone was all extended.

35559 Correct me if I'm wrong, but it looks like we got 100 points for the Countdown stage, right?

Good luck! That's what my Kindle library looks like... I somehow add more before I finish any. Hey, it's not my fault that people want to share their ebooks for free 😂

35559 I think spelling out more words is a great way to end this challenge with a big bang of points.
35559 I got a little absorbed in other challenges & am backlogged.

This is from the FAQ:
◈Q: To clarify, you cannot start reading for the safezone tasks until the 10 countdown tasks are completed.
Or can we just not finish them before the countdown tasks are completed?
◈A: You can't start reading for the safezone groups until you have completed the countdown stage.
So consider this with the team as to how the countdown tasks are assigned so that the big readers take on more tasks (or higher page counts!)

So we have to wait until the countdown is over before reading the safezone books.

35559 Sorry for the crazy ramblings in my messages above... I have Monday brain!
Sep 30, 2019 03:01PM

35559 Whoa... wait a minute. The countdown for this round isn't until 10/4? I'm so confused now!
Sep 30, 2019 02:54PM

35559 Oooohhhh even better! I also have a "Y" that is for another challenge.

That is... if everyone is cool to spell "grouchy."
Sep 30, 2019 02:48PM

35559 That is correct definition for MPG.

Don't worry about finding an adventure MPG as that was part of the countdown & the week is over now.

I have a book that works for Safezone Group 1, but I think we go for big points & spell out 1 or more words.

I was thinking "grouchy" for the first word. My book would work for the U, so one of the hard letters is taken care of!

I posted in the Captain's Group to discuss it's purpleyness. I'd say yes to it, but we'll get the officials vote.

35559 I'm on the same plan as Carrie!

I'm listening to an audible book right now that would work for #2... If everyone is okay with that, I can throw it on there as I'll be done with it today. That means I'll do 3 the 1st round.

I do have a book that works for SZ G1 & I have it on the SS. I'm thinking we should go for big points & do the spell-it-out.

Thoughts?

35559 I'm planning on doing the backroom BOM discussion as well.

I should have some time tonight to start planning... October is right around the corner! Eek!

35559 Thanks for taking care of the last round team! I had an unexpected busy weekend. I did get my book done, thankfully!

I can't believe we are on the last round!

35559 Done with my first book & updated the spreadsheet.

Did everyone sign up for TTs? This is my first go around with it, so I might be a little distracted in finishing this itinerary.
