So sorry to hear that Louise. Just pop in when you can, we all understand that this is for a bit of fun and real life things happen. All the very best.
The Snowmen have melted. As it is the 60th Anniversary of Dr Who on the 25th, I've gone with Dr Who and luckily one of my most favourites spun up. The Ood.
Happy hunting.

Lo and behold on P 4 …spiritual."I enjoyed the first one and will pick the series up later. I'm quite intrigued how Bill is going to resolve his love life. 🤣

Yes, my feelings exactly.
I'm working on a U book now, should be finished tomorrow. I've got 2 more after that. Two of them are blue too.

Hope the weather is okay for them.. it's not looking all that good. My oldest son said he is getting a family tent for Christmas.. I'm going with them to Fiji to a resort next year.. I said the other grandparents can do the family camping trip, LOL.
If a colour had to be used to describe Hypothermia it definitely would be blue!I just had to share the use of the word Mambo in my book... "causing the drumbeat to shudder down to a Mambo in his groin". Wow, purple prose at its best/worst. 🤣

Elisabeth wrote: "Haha that book and music genre you posted made me laugh, Lisa. A wild fright and polka don't usually go together, although I guess it depends how you feel about polkaing."It's a fun series. Paranormal set in Deadwood with a hefty dose of snark. 😁
Hey, it's Miley's Dad... 😁😁😁🤣Sorry, I'm on Team B.. I'm way over it!
So, where do we stand on this one?

DQs Day 5 | Chapter 28 - end17. What did you think about how the "black market Serbian violin debacle" turned out? Do you think it hurt Ray in terms of the competition?
It was a bit of a late red herring. Yes, definitely running around would have affected his ability in the competition even just the travelling aspect never mind the emotional toll.
18. Were you surpised at the outcome of the competition? I know I was rooting for him, but I instinctively assumed Mikhail would take first - perhaps solely for the plot. Do you think that was the case or did Mikhail genuinely win?
I think it was implied that because it was Russia Mikhail would have the unfair advantage and win..
19. When the missing papers are discovered in Ray's PopPops violin case, were you surprised at what they contained? Does the narrative they showcase further cement his family's provenance of the violin to you?
I actually did think some "proof" would show up so wasn't surprised that this went down the way it did. I'm not sure legally whether this would have been categoric proof but it certainly would have swayed things Ray's way.
20. It was (view spoiler)! What did you think of her reasons for committing the crime. Do you feel any sympathy for her?
Yes, I mentioned Nicole as a suspect in one of previous answers!! Sometimes the left of field character whodunnit. I really felt for Ray he didn't have much real love in his life, thank goodness for his Grandma and Janice.
BONUS - Author's Note
Brendan Slocumb reveals that the novel’s wedding scene and the Baton Rouge shakedown are based on his own experiences. How did this knowledge affect your experience of the book?
Wow, It was confronting but I shouldn't be surprised. Sadly accounts like this are in the media everyday, even in 2023. We've got to do better, people!

. Tineye also says grey but it looks blue to me."
ah. I'm borderline. Do you have the physical copy? Can be hard ..."
Only the kindle. I'll leave it off for now and see if I can find a tineye friendly bluey.
Oh that's very handy. We are already up to 8-9 individual genres. And Blues probably the easiest colour!
